Oh, maybe this is old news, but is Kosås finally dropping the å? It's a bit of a pet hate of mine when brands use foreign letters purely for aesthetic reasons. The word "kosås" literally means "cow sauce" in Swedish, and to me, it just makes the whole brand look ridiculous (which is a shame as the products look great). So happy to see that they've finally removed it.
Yes Iris, they've rebranded without the symbol and dropped the 'Cosmetics' too. It's just Kosas now! 👍 The name was always inspired by the philosophy of the five 'kosas' of self x
Same! I’m from Sweden, where we have the letters Å Ä & Ö, and I’ve seen lots of non-swedish people use those letters just for the “aesthetic”. It’s almost like they fail to realize that it’s not just ~a quirky way to spell A~ and actually is letters that people use and know how to pronounce lol.
I really liked the sleek black packaging that they started out with and personally I think that they should have stayed with that look. Their newer products packaging looks like a totally different brand :/
That's true, the lip gloss and concealer packaging is quite a departure from the original black and white! Interested to see which direction their other launches go in 👍 x
I personally feel like the black, sleek packing with white font is very unoriginal. nars, chanel, sephora etc. their new packing, even though it looks a bit mismatched, feels really fresh and new.
I have been wanting to get into makeup recently (as in actually purchasing and applying it, rather than just fantasizing over videos like yours) and this video quite frankly convinced me of where I want to invest first. I’m excited already and I haven’t even done anything 👀💗

C.L.G. I totally agree! I was just thinking that earlier today. It would be so easy to do the blushes and highlighter as refill magnetic pans. I just bought the lip oil and love it but have been going through it so quick and have been a little turned off by the intensely bulky plastic packaging! Clean ought to mean more sustainable packaging too. Everyone just needs to speak up, and things will change! 💗
Finally! I've been waiting for a Kosas brand review from you for ages! 😊 Ok. Now that I've watched it I can confirm that I love it. I've tried every product except for the lip oil and the concealer (because they're not available at Cult Beauty yet). I totally agree with you that the TFO is nowhere near as glowy as the name would suggest and it can emphasize dry patches and it doesn't play well with certain skincare and SPF formulations (I still like it, though). As for the other products I adore them all. I haven't tried every shade of everything (lucky you!), but I love my 8th Muse blush, Royal lipstick, Globe eyeshadow and Rush lipbalm. And judging by your video I can't wait to try the rest of the line.
@@rauha1761 I find it long lasting. I do agree that TFO is not glowy...and I have dry skin...but I moisturize and only use this product sparingly and would not go to any other "foundation" style product.
I have to say this first... Love your nail polish 😍 I've never had any of Kosas's products before but I'm going to try the blushes and the lip gloss.. I think the shades are lovely.. Thank you for sharing this 💗
The face oil has been on my list for ages but it got super mixed reviews so I haven’t pulled the trigger yet. I’m intrigued by the blush / highlighter duos but I can’t decide which one(s) to get.
i pulled the trigger even w the mixed reviews and it's so unique and amazing honestly. the only thing about it is that if my skin is REALLY dry it definitely emphasizes patches and if i have "too much" skincare underneath, it will pill like a bitch. even with those two things being true i still really like it.
The detox market will do samples of it! I grabbed two to find the color I like and to try it out. I agree with the dry patches, but it's changed my skin. And it makes me focus more on my skincare.
I’m not a fan of the face oil, but the cream blush/highlights are incredible. I haven’t tried the high intensity colors yet, but I have all the originals and my favorite it tropic equinox. I think you can’t go wrong with that shade. It’s more of a blush than a bronzer on me.
I really love the layouts for your videos! Awesome coverage of this brand since hearing it from previous videos. Definitely will check it out down the line!

Hello Matilda :) I've been seeing Kosas a lot recently (on photos). I have a feeling that we don't have it in Italy. I like the liquid eyeshadows. My favorite color is Copper Halo. From the lipsticks Vegas and Rosewater definitely caught my eye and the Malibu lip oil. xoxo
Kosas is sold in France if you want :) Maybe you can have them in Italie with less shipping fees like that. (I know "Moncornerb" which sold them here, don't know if it delivers in international).

I’ve been using Tropic Equinox since September of last year! I actually use it as a blush & bring it up higher 💗 I added stardust & their new concealer to my wishlist!

haven't tried anything from kosas but have always intrigued on the blush duo. their packaging and product are beautiful. i only have a total of 6 lipsticks in my vanity after decluttering, even then i still struggle sometimes choosing which shade to wear for the day, can't imagine if i have as many as yours hahah congrats on the collaboration, matilda. it's such a pleasure seeing someone partnering with brands they've been raving about for so long

I really want to try the new revealer concealer! I love the ingredients- however, not sure what shade to get.. I’m a medium light neutral undertone but it’s really hard to tell online and the local Sephora doesn’t carry it.. might have to just guess and return if it isn’t the right shade.. thanks for going over this nice brand again!

Hey Matilda, thank you for this review. I would love to try the Reveal Conceal, just waiting for it to hit MECCA. I've tried most of the Kosas products with mixed results. The Tinted Face Oil was a miss for me, it dried to a weird matte patchy finish, there are many better options available. The Liquid Eyeshadow was a hit, no creasing on my usually oily eyelids. The Weightless Lip Colour was a hit, nice creamy comfortable finish. The Lipfuel Lipbalm was a miss, should have been formulated with SPF 50 if you're expected to wear this as an outdoors sport/beach option.

I’d love to see a mini kit of lipsticks . Similar size to the Credo Beauty sample once available? Since there is a shorter shelf life the smaller lipsticks help not so much go to waste. Xx
AW, I love Kosas so much!! - I currently have 3 lipsticks, 1 powder blush and tinted face oil - they're all amazing!!! Undone lipstick is my go to everyday red & Rosewater is great for weekends or anytime I crave a bit of color with sheerness. I also wear Royal during weekdays as well (when I have lot of meetings, it gives me extra boost of confidence). Cant wait to try Revealer Concealer and am definitely picking up Thrilist & Phoenix ....and probably another blush.... Thanks for this video! I only wear 'Clean' brands of skincare & makeup and I really enjoy your videos - your perspectives on texture, color etc. Please feature more of `Clean` brands - they're better for our health and the environment, and the companies tend to be socially & environmentally responsible (way more so than, your typical personal care companies)
There’s also another lipstick exclusive to the kosas website called violet fury. it doesn’t seem to be accessible via the lipstick menu, but if you search for it it pops up

I use Kosas Tinted Face Oil every day and my normal to oily skin loves it. I only need one drop for my entire face. I have imperfections but can’t stand the look or feel of heavy makeup so I’m excited to try the revealer! I have never worn concealer as I’ve never found one I like - even Glossier and RMS are too heavy for me.
Glad the face oil works well for you Sam! Glossier and RMS are the most sheer concealers I own, so this one might be a bit intense as it's medium to heavy coverage. But you can always give it a try in store using a very small amount! 👍 x
I’ve been crazy about every product Kosas has come out with, so I’m really excited to try the new concealer. I’ve got the tinted face oil, but I forget I’ve got it! (Old age? 🤔)And I have Copper Halo, but it’s a tad too reddish for my eyes. Rosewater, Undone and Stardust are holy grail lipsticks for me, and Dip gloss is fab. Not entirely sold on Rush lip balm. I love Kosas, but sadly their skin tint oil looks horrible on my dry skin. I wanted it to be dewy, but if you have normal to oily skin and like a matte look you will love it! Super excited to try the concealer thought!
Definitely not as dewy as I'd hoped either Lisa! The concealer does have a bit more of a brightening effect ✨ Best to try it in person if you can given your experience with the face oil! x
Thank you so much for this video! I picked up tropic equinox a few months ago and loved it and it's the only piece of makeup I wear everyday. I've wanted to buy a few more of their cream cheek products but my skin tone can get funny when getting products to show up on me. I'm right smack in the middle between medium and dark so it was hard for me to pick a blush shade that would show up but not have the highlight counterpart be too dark. This helped a lot!
Okay, I didn't know that they did high intensity versions of the blushes, but, yesss, one for darker skinned makeup lovers!!! Maybe the brand could do refills of the individual blush/highlight shades to address the comments I see on this video about going through one shade more than the other in the palette? Love this video! I just bought myself the 8th muse creme blush compact! Love both the blush and higlighter. If I really like it, i would concider purchasing the velvet melon high intensity blush! Also have my eye on jaws lip oil and rosewater lipstick♥️
I love Kosas and find that it has been increasingly the only products in my now simplified makeup collection. As someone with green/hazel eyes, tone 3 as well, I am increasingly tempted to purchase Helios...but now, with this video, I find myself drawn to Velvet Melon HI...but I need a new Tropic Equinox (this is messing with my simplified makeup collection)! And, I think I need the Wet Lip Oil Gloss in Jaws - ha.

I don’t own any Kosas products but I think I might get some after my no buy. The lipstick in fringe looks like it would suit my style very well. I would love to see more clean beauty videos from you in 2020, I plan to completely switch to clean once I‘ve finished up the old products and always appreciate your opinion on products!

Love this video!! I’m starting to get into products that are quick and easy to use. Also I’m in need of a new base product and wanted something light for summer. I was trying to decided between the Kosas Skin Tint & the Glossier Skin Tint. Would you recommend one over the other?

I definitely prefer Glossier's Skin Tint - you can see it in my recent Glossier Makeup Routine video and a few others on my channel 👍 It's much more lightweight, sheer and dewy, whereas the Kosas Tinted Face Oil has more coverage and a slightly matte finish. Just depends on your own preferences! x

Hey Matilda, a new warm bronzer has just been added to kosas very recently! I've been looking at kosas on Sephora recently and it says that there a new warm bronzer that's about $40! For me it's $45 CAD, so it would be less than that in USD or AUD.
Yes I've seen it! ☀️ It isn't something I've tried but I've definitely heard about it - that bronzer has been widely and rightly criticised because it only came in three shades which is nowhere near enough to suit all skin colours, particularly women of colour x
