A return trip to Mt Townsend and Lake Albina from Charlotte pass.
Spring 2023 #11 : Charlotte pass - Seamans Hut - Rawson creek - Muellers pass - Muellers peak - Mt Townsend - Descent to Lake Albina - Lakeside walk to Albina pass - Rawson creek valley - Seamans Hut - Return.
Distance : 24 km.
Walking conditions : Tracks and snowfield crossings.
Notes : A trip to the snow-clad areas around Mt Townsend. The air was very clear and the views from the range were excellent. Lake Albina was in an early stage of thaw.
