Hi, I'm very happy that you liked our traditional dish. But it will be more delicious if you fry garlic and put a spoon of vinegar on it then put the tomato sauce. You are going to have amazing flavour. And I have another way of cooking to make it easier. You can fry the onion then, take them out, then add the rice on the same oil that you fry the onions in it then add the black lentil, then add the water you also can add the macaroni. You prepare the tomato sauce with the garlic and vinegar in the pan. Then when the rice and black lentil have been cooked put them in a dish then on the top put the sauce and on the sauce put the fried onions. 😋😋😋😋
So good 🥰 loved your recipe, but in the original Egyptian recipe you need to fry onions first so you use little from the infused carmilized oil in the sauce and with the rice cooking. Try that and the flavour will be on another level ❤ also there's garlic and vinegar in the sauce 😋
