Kalle: The biggest change to rallying is that I have to learn to defend and drive with other cars. Also Kalle: Scratch that, I'll just drive P1 in quali and keep a big gap for the whole race. No need to learn to drive with other cars.
@@JP-ki1vr Ja tässä tärkeänä erona on, että Maxilla on aika paljon parempi auto kuin kilpailijoilla lukuunottamatta tallikaveria, mutta tässä sarjassa kaikilla on samanlainen auto. Se huomioon ottaen yli viiden sekunnin eron kiriminen on kyllä todella kova suoritus.

If Kalle tried F1, he would within few races be faster than his teammate and then he would start dominate. First two WRC championships back to back, then wins in Drifting and now wins in Porsche Cup car. True generational talent. What's next? LeMans 24h class win?
Great video! Could you elaborate a bit more about minor things and interesting bits every now and then. For example, what are you doing multiple times during the lap with your right hand? Are you adjusting brake balance or is there some other tunable controls? Also, how do you prepare for a race on new track? Do you train in a sim and if so, how do you feel modern sims relate to actual driving?
@Kalle Rovanperä A comment about so called "Rally English" by Finnish. There is no 'soft-R' in Finnish, it's always 'hard'... roll the R sound like D instead of T.
