That's a really good sign for the people like me who aren't going to speed run it. That means like a 21-23t pinion on stock electronics will bash and track responsibly all day without issues.
I have a v1 kraton 8s, I wanted to run a 25 tooth for bashing since temps never even exceeded 125° which makes almost no sense to me, but it cogs so badly. I'm hoping the 22 tooth won't cog off the line, it ruins the wheelies. When it doesn't cog though it gets up good.
That thing is absolutely insane the power and roar as she passes is crazy. Its loud on 22t and intimidating cant imagine what thats like insane keep up the great testing.👍🤘
Appreciate that Vas, maybe it is. But I won't label it world's fastest until it's actually fast in my eyes. We will see next week though 😉 no holding back next time...
Believe the green battery pack is for the servo.. gives the motor 100% power. I could be wrong though.. still new when it comes to electric setups. If it was nitro I’d have a for sure idea on what it was lol
Umm no that isn’t out the box. He’s got a bigger pinion, cap pack, different tires, and probably a few other things. The only thing he’s stated is stock electronics. That means motor and Esc.

STOCK ELECTRONICS. Purpose was to see how far I can push the stock electronics without changing the motor/esc combo. Of course I changed the pinion gear to test the STOCK motor and esc. How about this, I'll help you guys out- I ran a 34 tooth pinion and stock spur. Have at it guys 💪 Really complaining about ONLY a 69 mph speed run clearly showing stock electronics? Wait until next week...
I found it pretty funny how upset a few folks in the comment section have gotten over this video, it’s pretty obvious what you are attempting to do, and at no point did you say this was a bone stock K8S, and yet they are crying like you just stole their bicycle. Strange world we live in 🤷♂️
@@rsoul7282 I dont see why either. A system is a motor/ esc setup. Clearly shown stock electronics. Yet people are stating it isn't a stock system if I change the gear. Is a gear apart of a system? And the belted tires make me slower...
@@InnovationRC I would think so. Stock electronics yes, but not a fully stock system if you change anything at all. Cap pack, and gear change makes it not "stock"
I’m still watching this vid but I’d think it’s the rotational mass of these wheels I hear all 4 wheels are 4.5 lbs mounted.. or maybe the lipo was not warmed up and there was a voltage drop. I actually wanted these on my team 8.2e bcs they are a very good design and better than what comes on the 1/8 buggy but they are heavy.

I got those SAME batteries QS8 connection with xlx2 and castle 1100 on 30 pin and 47 stock spur 1:5 EXB.. I STILL HAVEN’T HIT TOP SPEED BCS ITS FREAKY FAST but I’d expect it to hit 70mph without any technicality. Innovation told me those 7400 lipo let him down and aren’t legit,… damn so what’s better those cnhl 9000 mah was it? Their like 80 or 90 C rating? I didn’t get them bcs I was looking for the highest C ratings.

@@jdodds1023 Why would you want that puny 2028 in a big rig like that? Do it right. TP Power 5870 6D, or 5D if you're feelin' brave. Thst Castle 2028 is the most overhyped motor on the planet. The TP is almost twice as powerful.

CMW Chris woodward No, obviously not. Stock electronics only. Plus a giant cap pack that he fails to mention which isn’t really stock setup anymore. But, if a cap pack is all that’s needed for speeds like that then it’s not a big deal

That's fast! Stock?? I'm running stock, with a 24t pinion, punch 5, stock tyres. It's like 6 degrees celcius here so temps are not the problem. Just riding up and down the street and it cuts off every 5 minutes. Pretty annoying. What pinion are you using?
I reprogrammed the esc, still on 24t pinion. Did full speed runs for 15 min non stop up and down. Motor was hot! But problem solved, no shutdowns anymore.
I had this problem on my old max 6 did it all the time. I changed to a maxx 5 and it stop running it on all the stock settings. I have yet to remove it and put it in the kraton 8s and demo it to see what happens. I can run back to back on a maxx 5 in xmaxx with 24/46 no issues at all and pretty cool temps on esc and motor.
show2ime, yea my Hobbywing does this with a really good battery only. It’s a drag racing battery with super low IR, but only with THAT battery does this happen. And it only happens when I punch full throttle. Punch settings don’t seem to matter; only turbo timing set on max does it. But why? And why with only that awesome battery?
I am going to buy this truck, or the e-revo 2.0 I don’t mind the few dollars for the upgrade to get the 8s moving faster. Stock electronics what is needed to get this truck to 70+. I will drive but I will not be one of those skate park bashers. Just not my cup of tea. Can anyone help with exact setup used here?
Apparently nobody listens or only hears what they want anymore. Stock electronics and a pinion change, motor timing and cap pack is not the same as stock out the box. Anyone expecting these speeds without fine tuning it with a few things is going to be sorely mistaken and butthurt.
Change your gearing. I never stated out of the box bone stock. Only stock electronics, what the title states. If you change your gears you'll go faster. I am showing the capability of this electrical system

Yes I only changed the gear to the complete stock setup. I won't be pushing the stock system anymore after this. It's shown it's worth over 55 mph. That's what I wanted to prove
Stock motor and esc. People should know to run a better capacitor to begin with to extend the life of the esc. Nor do escs legitimately help boost speed or give more power. They absorb ripple, decreases heat. System was running cool enough as it is so it wouldn't have mattered. Amperage cutoff was triggered- not voltage. So regardless if I used a cap pack the amperage will still be present
Innovation RC sorry but I have to disagree. Escs most definitely do give more power and will increase top speed. As far as a cappack is concerned - I run a cappack in my DBXle and all my drag cars and saying that your running a stock setup is fair I guess but as you can see from all the comments the cappack certainly is a big elephant in the room😃😃.

No, that's a SETUP I never stated stock setup. Negating what you said- I am very humble for everything I've come across, did I lie? Absolutely not, you saw the stock motor and esc in that car. Period. That was the purpose of the video. If your buying this truck, you probably have a bigger gear somewhere anyway. So just throw it in and have fun! A 25 pinion is 55 mph. I ran 30+ teeth in this video.
Capacitors don't influence amperage. Capacitors clear ripple up which reduces heat. Esc was cutting off from AMPERAGE. Not LVD. These batteries are 7400mah 100c. No way were they dropping below lvd. Running parallel battery setups help not trigger LVD, hence less voltage drop from a higher mah setup
@@InnovationRC no they don't influence amps, but they do clear up ripple which adds cleaner power from what I have experienced with mine and better punch hitting the throttle. Shouldn't even need cap packs with that high of mAh but I run parallel all the time for that exact reason. So what's your hypothesis for why it keeps cutting out? I've seen and read this a buncha times now on this car
@@motortoys9942 amperage. Typical hobby wing esc. My point is regardless if I ran that capacitor pack it'll still cutoff at the same speed. Plus the tires I ran were weighing me back and were heavier.
@@motortoys9942 don't know why they're having that issue. If it's anything it could be the batteries, if the mah is too small voltage will sag and trigger lvd even when the battery isn't fully drained yet
