The Spectacular Spider-Man is an American superhero animated television series based on the Marvel Comics character Spider-Man, created and developed by Greg Weisman and Victor Cook. In terms of overall tone and style, the series is based principally on the Stan Lee, Steve Ditko, and John Romita Sr. era of The Amazing Spider-Man comic books, with a similar balance of action, drama, and comedy as well as a high school setting. However, it also tends to blend material from all eras of the comic's run-up to that point in addition to other sources such as the Ultimate Spider-Man comics by Brian Michael Bendis and Mark Bagley, as well as Sam Raimi's Spider-Man film series.

im not sure if it was intentional but i liked that once the fight went street level and there were actual people in harms way spidey gets serious and ends the fight quickly

How come no one is talking about the "you're outta your league" part? Because he's right! It's rare for any normal person to fight Spider-Man and still be standing. If Kraven was fighting Batman, then *maybe* someone like Kraven might've had a chance. But as it is... Well, to put it lightly, I see why Kraven turned himself into a lion man.

I think Kraven speaking in the third person was an ego thing more of a Russian thing, and the accent was to help communicate to the American audience that he was Russian. I don’t know why you mentioned vodka, gulags, and communism. None of those were in the clip. Hope you’re safe, not a lot of Russians are because of the draft.
