Great job and thank you! Would’ve been nice to have a map with all the of hidden trails that lead to areas of interest. Eveything looks similar - the rivers, the trees …nothing special to distinguish where the trail is even. A lot of paddocks.. doesn’t make sense they would not stay in the open. Unless they couldn’t move or were far from the paddocks.
Hi Romain. Thanks for all your hard work. I think there is stars in the night photo's and you can see the north star. You can also see the southern cross. I think you need to mirror the southern cross photo. My initial thoughts, they are at the base of an old or currently dry waterfall (The water comes from the west) If true this will explain bag, shoes etc. Your grey drone footage (Close to the light green footage) should have it. If not the stars will guide us to the correct spot. I think there is also many photos of the North star especially close to the tree with the V in it. I think the timing of photos was to get clear images of the North star for us to use. I first saw what looked like an umbrella pattern of stars in the sky. I did need many of the images and for them to be clear. Well done ladies. I think you will now be able to find the girls last location. I would certainly like to see the grey drone footage. At 9:10, we have a semicircle of large stones similar to the place in the night photos, but in the center of this area, there wasn't supposed to be a flow of water, a small lagoon and much less so many boulders, but rather green vegetation and crawl space filling this entire part in the middle of the stones. On the sides near the larger rocks, there should be a 20 or 25 meter wall, but that's not what you see in this footage. I think the place for the night photos is somewhere close to the Paddock. No momento 9:10, temos um semicírculo de pedras grandes parecidos com o lugar das fotos noturnas, mas ao centro dessa área, não era para existir um fluxo de água, uma pequena lagoa e muito menos tantos pedregulhos, e sim uma vegetação verde e rasteira preenchendo toda essa parte no meio das pedras. Nas laterais próximas as pedras maiores, deveria existir uma parede de 20 ou 25 metros, mas não é isso o que se vê nessa filmagem. Acho que o lugar das fotos noturnas é um lugar próximo ao Paddock.
Nao consigo imaginar dois corpos sendo arrastados por vários quilômetros em um rio como esse, ou existe alguma época de cheia, ou não vejo possibilidade.
Great footage, it does give the impression of more of a forest than a jungle.. It's interesting, some of the rocks look quite similar to the night photos, particularly the colours and the amount of moss and plants on them. But if the girls went this way then surely they'd have made an SOS around the open area where you are standing, instead of on a rock in the river. And further downriver doesn't seem to be a very good match either because the rocks are much whiter. There's been a bit of chatter on the Reddit sub recently about a location on River 3, at 10:13 on your "Aerial video of the stream" video. Do you have any closer footage of that area?
I had that same feeling! I also noticed a certain similarity between the place in the night photos and the place you mentioned. I had already made this same comment previously in another video. You pointed out the 10min13s moment, I had already pointed out the 10min11s moment in the video "Aerial Vídeo...", a few months ago. This place is close to the trail, and it would be easy for the girls to access it through the Paddock, either because they got lost, or because they were forced, or because a third party went there with the camera and took the photos. The location of the night photos is not as close to a stream of water, as if it were the edge of a river, and the geography appears to be a hole below the tree canopy, with walls of rocks and vegetation rising to 20 or 25 meters high, narrowing to the deepest part where that "V" shaped branch appears in the photos from the early hours of April 11th. Around the Paddock area, there are other places like the one you pointed out at 10min13s in the "Aerial video..." video, but the place you pointed out is more likely to be the place we are looking for, being closer to the trail and having easier access. Like you, I would really like someone to go down there and film the deepest part. However, this is a difficult and dangerous task, as there can be venomous snakes and fatal heights there. Esse lugar fica próximo a trilha, e seria fácil das garotas acessarem ele através do Paddock, seja porque se perderam, seja porque foram forçadas, seja porque um terceiro foi até lá com a câmera e fez as fotos. O lugar das fotos noturnas, não é tão próximo a um fluxo de água, como se fosse a beira de um rio, e a geografia parece ser um buraco abaixo da copa das árvores, com paredes de rochas e vegetais se elevando a 20 ou 25 metros de altura, se estreitando para a parte mais profunda onde aparece aquele galho em forma de "V" das fotos da madrugada do dia 11 de Abril. Ao redor da área do Paddock, têm outros lugares como esse que você apontou aos 10min13s do Vídeo "Aerial vídeo...", mas esse lugar apontado por você é mais provável de ser o lugar que procuramos, estando mais próximo a trilha e tendo um acesso mais facilitado. Assim como você, gostaria muito que alguém descesse lá e filmasse a parte mais profunda. Porém, esta é uma tarefa difícil e perigosa, pois ali podem haver cobras peçonhentas e alturas fatais.
For me it is clear that in the lower part of the river Mamei such accidents cannot occur that cause injuries such as a broken foot and a broken pelvis. Basically, these injuries could only have happened in the upper part when trying to climb down the steep waterfalls. Always assuming they really left the trail and went into the riverbed of River1.
Interesante nombre de este riachuelo-quebrada, el "Mamey" tambien llamado "Zapote" es una fruta pulposa, concha marron, pulpa de color naranja-rojiza, de buen tamaño (10-20 cm de diámetro) mayormente dulce, muy agradable al gusto, nutritiva que se da en un arbol de aproximadamente 25-40 metros, por cierto común en la provincia de Chiriquí por lo que supongo que a lo largo de esta quebrada pueden haber estos arboles frutales. Tambien los cultivan para delimitar fincas.

There's no evidence they got into an accident whatsoever. More evidence points to foul play. They supposedly died in an accident on the spot yet only 1% of their bones were found some bleached. Their shoddy backpack is found in pristine condition with all their items neatly packed. They supposedly get lost yet barely try to use their phones to call 911 or as flashlight at night, but rather switch of their phones immediately after getting lost? Yeah sure of course the assumption is an accident to protect the tourist industry.
