Just had my 2020 Miata Anniversary Model Krowned. I live in New England and owned my 2002 Miata for 21 years without rust proofing. I want to keep this one mint, so an annual Krown treatment is a must up here.

I've gotten cars sprayed in Markham, Ontario and never seen any silicone spray on any rubber. Sometimes they don't bother doing the engine bay if they're short of time. They do the engine bay around 75 percent of the time.

I've heard service can vary between locations. Mine here has always been consistent with all my vehicles

If I go thur car wash 3 times per week… would this Krown wash away cause car wash has undercoating spray

Yes they do with a special product that removes the salt residue

I’ve heard the Krown product is thinner than other types of rustproofing and therefore it comes off easily. What are your thoughts on this? Thanks for the video.

The thickness of the product has little to no impact on its adherence to the metal components of your car, if anything a thinner product will be better at getting into harder to reach areas as it tends to “leach” or creep easier than a thicker film, and a thinner product will get into the microscopic pores of the surface it’s applied too. Thicker films/fluids can just as easily be washed/rinsed off under similar circumstances. In my experience over many vehicles owned and having worked in automotive for a number of years, I can honestly say the Krown product works very well
