Power of a dollar was great too wouldn’t even have GRODT if he didn’t make that about 3 joints from that cd that everyone said FAILED created the path for GRODT
@@danielcampos20242 it is! Thank you for saying that I agree too I just don’t say it bc some wasn’t fifty fans til GRODT n then dropped him also when massacre came
KRS One is speaking facts,50 Cent more gangsta and came out hard, but did what he had to do to get financially set. He's helluva smart, especially with Starz deal creating shows, giving other jobs
KRS - ONE! I still get goose bumps when I say his name! I don't have the words...Thank you for everything you have done for Hip Hop and beyond!!!!!!!!!!!
IDK TECNIQUE GETS WAY TOO OFF RAP SUBJEECT/ENDS UPSIDE WAYS ON NBC TALKIN POLITICS ABOUT WORLD HUNGER AND WAR DOMINATION..KRS ALWAYS STAYS FOCUSED ON WHAT MATTERS /MUSIC YALL,MUSIC..TALK IS WHO WE ARE
The Teacha! Still #1 when u see krs live its HipHop in tje flesh.he not only Emcee but also stops and drop knowledge on the crowd. The Real HipHop is over here!
50 made a whole song called ' I Get High" on Get Rich or Die Tryin album......that song had me getting High at age13 only to realize at age 25 that 50cent doesnt even smoke weed and never has......I say that to say be careful eho you idolize, its real life consequences and repercussions!!!!!!!
I SALUTE KRS 1.....HE INTRODUCED ME TO HIP HOP....AND OPENED MY EYES TO ALL THE EVILS IN THE WORLD....NOT ALL....BUT VIOLENCE THATS DONE TO US AS A PEOPLE.....HE OPENED MY MIND.....KUDOS.....B.D.P.
he is clean living and focused and has the passion he is a good man he is doing good for people and i hope he keeps staying strong and fit i have never been able to see him live but the videos are really entertaining
KRS-ONE is one of the best rappers of all time, CRIMINAL MINDED, BLUEPRINT all time great albums, they don't make rappers like tht anymore, rap really took a step back once rappers outside NYC became famous, there's nothing like NYC underground rap is the essence
'I stay high all the time (I smoke that good s***) I stay high all the time (and I'm on some hood s***)'. Maybe he's changed but he has a song dedicated to 'dro on his first album.
This might be an extremely overused phrase in the hip hop world, but KRS is the realest guy in hip hop. I feel blessed to be able to say I've seen the man perform.
KRS 1 says no matter what Africa Bambatta did such as (plug kids but holes) should be overlooked because he was what started hip hop! No respect for anyone that protects a child molester! And KRS was one of my favorites!
Naw man, it's truly built around a culture of 5 elements. The Emcee, The Bboy The Graffiti Artist The DJ And the Knowledge that emobodies the culture. Rap is to vocally rhyme. You can simply hold the knowledge of the Hiphop community and be apart of it. You just have to step over the barrier of knowing the difference between how people perceive hiphop, and how it is actually lived. Because anyone who lives for hiphop, and not just rap, knows that it truly is a share-able lifestyle.
i agree with you on that. cuz over the years i would get mad cuz 50 would start a beef with someone. but then he we do a song that erybody could enjoy. then he wopuld go back to dissing again. but 50 is maturing alot now. ive seen his movies. he gets notyhing but respect from me
@advantagehiphop I definitely respect him for what he did. I don't think that anyone who's just started in their hip-hop career has ever gone after established big names. I have 50 Cent's entire discography, from "Power of the Dollar" to "Before I Self Destruct," and he's definitely come a long way, as many before him have.
@skallywag1312 that line is actually 'cocaine coming out ye pours in the sauna, because he was a coke/crack hustelr and he said that when he was drug tested it came possitive because he had been dealing so much with coke, but not using it
How can people who say they like or love Hip-Hop diss KRS-One when if it wasn't for dudes like him half of these WACK rappers today wouldn't even be known or get the time of day in a studio? SMH seriously...
"I smoke that good shit, nigga im high all the time i smoke that good shit". i understand why 50 tryna tone his shit down so he can get that vitamin water bread, but for realstop lying to ur fans i like ur music
You can tell krs respects 50 for making a living in hip hop but not for being a decent hip hop Artist. Like Gza said, “50 ain’t got no lyrics”. Rappers like Jay and 50 get looked at like the best rappers in the game when they are really the best at getting their foot in the game and being something other than a rapper. Which shows how weak rap is as a talent agency. Unfortunately most people are ignorant and ignorance is contagious.
@skaterihalmtad yea, you're right. However, wasn't he caught doing coke in europe somewhere? It dont really matter to me. The point i was making is the whole Get Rich Or Die Tryin album is full of 50 sayin he gets high. Wether he does or not aint my bidness
I like that shirt! I needed that in the early 80's and early 90's! Whoever, whenever, I was ready and they knew it! Never backed down, even when I had to battle groups and crews(yeah Im showing age, but you all know!) Peace!
50 cent "Im high all the time, I smoke that good shit" Alot of rappers are just telling you what you wanna hear. there are alot of songs 50 is saying he smokes n drinks. People like KRS and Pac, Public Enemy and Scarface really said what they did. They also rap from someone elses point of view and tell their story one of my Favorite lines is from Makaveli "I aint a killer, but dont push me" real shit. When Problem came out he talked about not being a shooter that it wasnt for him, now his Mollywood 3 is talking about how his gun shows thru his shirt. I havent shot anyone and boxed 14 years but still carry a pistol. Its all how you look at it.
