Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose, but generally not both in the same day. This was the first year of the Solo Division for the KT82 Trail Relay . . . and it might be the last considering I was the only one who signed up this year. Join us for 67 miles on the Katy!
Even if you running a ultra relay race by yourself, you still need a good team . . . and I had the best. Thanks to Pacer James "Frenchy" Lambert, Tami and the rest of the crew for helping me make it from St. Louis to Hermann MO on a day when we were soaked for over 12 hours . . . first from the rain and then from the heat and humidity. The Katy Trail is a Missouri treasure . . . many thanks to GO! St. Louis for creating and directing such a great race following the path of Lewis & Clark over 200 years ago. Congrats to all the relay teams!
