Are you a racist? No But are you a racist? No So youre a racist? No You racist? No, and im leaving this interview There you have it, he might be a racist As usual, journalism at its finest over at CNN
Yes, they could have been taken out of context. If they are going to bring this stuff up, they should make available the entire text for the public to view, especially in this day and age when it is so easy to post on the web. But, they rarely do provide anything. They just make proclamations and people for the most part still just take them for their word.... on all sides.
CNN took the comments, which were not written by him, out of context. But CNN's real complaint is that Ron Paul does not try to control his readers/writers. Ron Paul defends individual liberties and opinions, CNN does not like that.
I voted for Ron Paul twice in GOP primaries. His runs coincided with the infancy of social media....back when social media was free. Now corporate media has taken over the election process. Ron Paul was the Cato the Younger of our time. The republic died with him. Within ten years I expect a Julius Caesar to emerge, followed by a civil war, followed by a totalitarian government. Probably could have been avoided had we elected Ron Paul.
@4:44 Ron says that he talked about that twice with CNN yesterday and suggested they go back and look at what he said, but the video ends without doing that. For over 20 years Ron Paul's actions have not demonstrated any signs of racism but have promoted equality. In fact, Ron Paul says that the War on Drugs discriminates against blacks, but that is not part of this report. CNN should consider returning the money they make from reporting.
He answered the question like 80 thousand times. they are hoping he forgets or says something new to smear him. And hes too smart for all that - just dont give it the time of day - get a new question - ask me something worth answering - or im leaving. I dont care! LOL, a true LEO for you.
The interview was over. That's why he took off his mic. She repeated the same question, that was her final point. A total smear. The interview was over.
@eBe4IXcept First of all, he's not a racist. DO YOUR RESEARCH. Second, if you do your research, you'll find that he's the most sensible, electable candidate to be the next US president.
Hmmm let’s see, he’s leading in the polls in Iowa so you start a dishonest smear campaign against him. How pathetically obvious. And of course the neocon “weekly standard” was happy to help.
How would it be hard to be a better president than Trump? The man puts no effort into being president because there are lazy cultists like you to follow him everywhere and he's had everything in life handed to him. Ron Paul on the other hand was a natural worker who always went above and beyond for his libertarian constituents.
@Advik. Cultists , you say?!? Ao you dont partake in the left right paradigm? Or are u the other side of the cult who thought Biden was an acceptable solution?
Trumps a pos not even worth the spit of Ron Paul. When Trump says America 1st, he means Israel 1st. Remember Epstein got to Trump the same way he got to Clinton. If your candidate is a star member of a foreign lobby group, thats fucked up. It means they're compromised.
@eBe4IXcept Ron Paul supporters are intelligent, well-informed, sensible, sincere people who believe in constitution and freedom. Since you don't support Ron Paul, you are none of those above.
How many fricking times did she need to ask the same question? This is why more and more people are turning away from mainstream TV media. They just keep pestering people if they don't get the answer they want.
Ron Paul in a debate with Senator Santorum and Herman Cain said he was against racial profiling after the terror attacks, and both of those candidates supported it. I stand with Ron Paul!
Thats just it.CNN writers sit in the brainstorm sessions and just scan critical YT messages. And they hijack critical thinkers statements against CNN and use them as ideas against their opponents!!
@eBe4IXcept Why don't you ask for a copy from CNN then???? No one has been asking for a copy to see the newsletters because THEY ALREADY HAVE THE NEWSLETTERS.
@PassTheLoot Really? Millions of dollars is "still something on the side?" Wow, I really need to learn to never go into a battle of wits with an unarmed person...
That's too bad. This question about making money off those newsletters, seriously, I don't think he was making much money to count for much. I do know people who may have said stuff like that in their younger years, but realize it's wrong now and don't even feel that way anymore. I hope that is the case with Ron.
@PassTheLoot Umm... That's nice. Nobody ever said that was his sole source of income... of which he has plenty. Just wondering though, during his traveling for speeches and making millions with his newsletters, when exactly he had time for patients. Wonder which one paid better, too... Good luck winning in Iowa (which no GOP candidate but G.W. Bush ever won competitively and later won the presidency).
Brian....he said he was aware of them 10 years after they were written... anyways nothing he has ever done, said or voted on would suggest that they were his views, yet morons want to define him based on those newsletters because it's easier than debating him on his ACTUAL message. Pretty childish and very cowardly.
He needs to make up his mind... did he write them, oversee them or was just an idiot who did not actually pay attention to a multimillion-dollar business under his control? In any of those cases, he did not show his ability to lead. I love blaming the writer for "making it an issue," as if being a bigot wasn't an issue to begin with.
