See the step by step installation of the KTM 690 fairing kit from RADE/GARAGE. With this video guide you will install the kit in one afternoon. More details on the kit: www.radegarage.com/parts/ktm-...
I’ve just ordered this for my 701. *I ordered at **21:00** one night, the next morning at **08:00** you said it had shipped!* Thank you, you sent tracking info too. I hope my skills are good enough for the install!
On you homepage you state that "The kit is fully bolted on and ready to plug and play. No drilling or permanent modifications. Whenever needed, you can simply reverse your bike back to the original setup" but still drilling is needed to fix the side panels in place and also some plastic cut (albeit not in a visible place). I personally wouldn't have a problem with that, but somebody might take it as a misleading advertising ;)
I see this kit uses the older KTM rally fairing. Do you think I could use the newer rally fairing and make it fit with this kit? I really like your design with the carbon tower but I much prefer the look of the newer rally fairing.
Hi, you can use white/orange sidepanels instead of gray/orange sidepanels. The white/orange version is for 2019-20, while MY21-23 have dark decals. The shape of sidepanels is identical, just let us know in your order which version you prefer.
@@RADEGARAGE1 Is it possible to not mount the side panels? Is the screen stable enough with the 4 mounting points? I would prefer it like that for looks and maybe buffeting…
I am installing the kit for my 2020 690…the brackets you show here at 27:30 I did not have in the box. Also I have the alternative blinkers but this video does not show how to install them.
Hi Chris, these brackets is the update from only last week, as you ordered your kit earlier, you have the previous version with turn signals in the side fairings. There are yellow labels from inside indicating where to drill a hole.
