I only have an acre, the BX2680 fits all my needs...I have already found out its very small size makes it a great machine to get into places the guys with their big fancy tractors can't get into...i.e. back yards in subdivisions. Not sure the overall size difference between the BX and B01 series but the BX does everything I need, and always seems to impress me at what it can do.
The size difference between a B01 and BX tractor is not huge but certainly notable. I too enjoy the BX tractors and find them to be very capable especially if you are working in subdivisions. Thanks for watching!
@@mittenequipment2443 I live out in the country and have plenty of room, but I've helped a couple of friends on their properties in town, and wow, I'm not sure how people live in those cramped subdivisions. The BX2680 is my first "Tractor", its leaps and bounds above anything my Cub Cadet XT1 lawn tractor could ever manage to do. The lawn tractor mows, that's about the extend of its capabilities, although it does do pretty well running my 42" snow blower. There's no substitute for a good tractor with a loader and a few ground maintenance implements. I just wish I would have listened to myself instead of my dealer and got the 3rd function valve, rear remote, and a grapple.
I bought a B2650 when I was only on an acre. Granted it was wide open, but it was an amazing handy tractor to have. I went bigger than the BX for the extra loader capacity and I was not disappointed. I sold it when we moved to 1.5 acres, which I regret but the buyer made me an offer I couldn’t refuse. Now I’m back at looking at tractors and once again weighing between the BX and B series.
@@wildbill23c look into summit hydraulics for adding rear remotes and 3rd function. They are plug and play kits. Look at tractor time with tim on RU-vid for videos on them and everything compact tractor related.
@@wildbill23c the BX tractors are amazing machines and a huge step above a homeowner grade mower. I have certainly got a lot of work done with them in the past. I still have yet to try a 3rd function, but I’m guessing it would be a game changer to have a grapple bucket. Rear remotes are invaluable if you want to use something like a hydraulic top link or in your case hydraulic chute rotation on the snowblower.
