This is well done video. I hate videos where it's a music video with loud obnoxious music. I am a 'Toy' junkie and always checking out new things. The narrator gives clear concise description of features. Answers a lot of questions without having to see one in person. If I lived near Messicks I would be a customer of theirs!
Messick's if i lived near by i would also buy a tractor from u guys, u really do a good job with the presentation and u picked the right guy to present them.
Did kubota not include grab handles with the cab, it appears in the video they have been removed if so that is a bad idea, in rough terrain they are something to hold onto. Thanks in advance, Roger Karstofsky
is that cab more durable then a curtis cab on a older BX2350. my tractor has the curtis cab (came with the tractor) and i wouldnt categorize the cab as completely shot for not being that old it has quite a bit of rust. the doors are almost shot (rotted pretty badly) and the tubular members are rusted pretty good. for a cab that is likely 12 years old its not in great shape. i see old international farm tractors with cabs that are in better much shape, tractors that are 40+ years old. is it the nature of the sub compact (being closer to the ground), is it a lesser then stellar build quality, or is it the nature of use the previous owner was putting it through. i would say the tractor saw far more hours snowblowing then mowing, the mower is in almost new condition and the snowblower i got with the tractor has obvious signs of regular use. i suspect the previous owner was more or less running a small snow removal business doing all the neighbors driveways..... driving the tractor up and down the road collecting all of the salt while at it. i will be keeping this machine on my property and trying not to get it coated in salt. i cleaned up the rust as good as i could in the time i had (i work ALLOT not much free time), sprayed the effected areas with rust kutter (rust reformer product) and top coated it. i hope it doesnt rust much more, im looking forward to having a cab on the tractor.
the only difference between the bx2380(BX80) and the bx23s is a stiffer frame for the backhoe option. all the mounting points are the same, so yes it will fit
If this cab has the lifting roof panel and the removable rear glazed panel, why were these not detailed in the walk around tour? The pedal gaiter kit and cab heater should have been fitted for illustration purposes to make the video a comprehensive view of the options available for this cab type!
I am looking at a 2018 BX2680 and am interested in this cab. My local dealer does not have any info on this particular cab, only one that appears to be Kubota orange and without operable windows. Can this be purchased via another vendor other than Kubota?
In regards to grab handles being removed when cab is installed. Do you sell a grab handle that will replace oem grab handle. Thanks in advance, Roger Karstofsky
Another good video but I think you may have misspoke when you stated bx is only small frame tractor available with factory cab. Now I could be wrong as well but I am pretty positive the mahindra eMax has a cab option as well.
+Messick Farm Equipment to that may need some clarification. By factory I mean a tractor and cab combination engineered together with noise isolation typically heat and air conditioning. If it and finish that you'd expect from a car. Other modern tractors are like this, but these small machines third-party cabs are being bolted on to the Tractor and don't have the same level of refinement.
Messick's I understand what your saying. I want to add a small bx for some snow removal to my business. Is this cab here available on all the bx80 series including the 1880??? And how much heat would you say is generated in the cab from normal operation? I’m in North Carolina so not sure if the heater option would be needed or not. Thanks guys
Messick's ok thanks. I’ll have to do some checking with my dealer. I would definitely prefer the 2380 but was thinking about the 1880 for price and price alone. Doesn’t take much to be into a B2301
love the video I live in south Carolina and it gets hot in the summer is there a way to put an ac on it factory or aftermarket looking at getting a bx2680
Ok, I like the cab now give us the sticker shock if I want one on my tractor. I know the "The Original Tractor Cab Company make a cheaper cab for around $1000 and with a glass windshield and electric wiper motor would be a extra $380. And they throe in a cab heater for you
They don't throw in a heater. I have had an Original Cab for eight years now and it's served me well, but of course it's nowhere near as nice as this one.
I bought an Original Tractor Cab, and I did get a free electric heater. I bought the manual wiper and glass windshield plus two mirrors. Cost me $2200 Canadian all in, great addition to my BX2680.
