The art direction is captivating.

This is actually surprisingly unique. It also doesn't have the "current day" dreary and "I want to be the next souls-like so bad" color palette that everyone tends to go with. Tower defense elements, micro-management of troops, the day/night cycle to split the prep and battle phases, the surprisingly unique aesthetic compared to it's contemporaries like Nioh and Sekiro, it isn't "super stylized", but it isn't "hyper realistic", it's a middle ground that allows for a rather bright and colorful artstyle with some seriously lush and vibrant scenery. The combat actually looks pretty neat, I'm curious to see if it's more of a hack-and-slash or your souls-like "dodge roll around and wait for an opening". There are moments where I think some skills are being used, there's clearly some kind of charge mechanic, and also dodging, but it doesn't seem as focused on the "brutal timing" of the latter. Surprisingly it doesn't look like a live-service game.. From Capcom. In 2024. It also doesn't look like a F2P game and I don't see how it could be a heavily monetized multiplayer game. Are we in some kind of Twilight Zone episode? It'll probably be a budget title, maybe $40(at lowest)~$60(at highest). It'll be interesting to see how this pans out.

The "Okami-nusha" sequel we were not expecting. Love to see Capcom going back into making weird little projects even tho they have high AAA success.

Oh wow, it's a mix of tower defense and melee action. I gotta say it's a bold move because : 1. It's a new IP. 2. A mix of genres which is tough to balance. However, I appreciate the bold move because it's not chasing trends. The art style and the gameplay is pretty unique.

Games like this make it clear that Capcom is on a different level when it comes to developing AAA games and still having a soul and creativity.

this has got to be one of the weirdest games capcom has made in the last 20 years and im all for it, reminds me of the ps1/ps2 days where big companies werent scared to throw bizarre ideas at the wall to see what sticks, now if only we could get them to remake onimusha 1-3 in the RE engine

I was expecting an action adventure, but this seems more like a tower defense or real-time strategy game. Pleasantly surprised.

i thought it would be more in the vein of the hack-and-slash Warriors games like a spiritual successor to capcom's own Sengoku Basara series, but it's more like DMC with a sprinkling of tower defense/RTS, but i'm into it

I love that it has stage play/ diorama element to it. Definitely picking this up day one!

I need it, this is spice that you were lacking in your line up CAPCOM, take us back to the days of Asura's Wrath and Okami.

The dance ritual purification gave me literal goosebumps it was so beautiful and captivating to watch.

Really like the art style in this with all of the colors! Also, I like how it's a blend of action based combat with some real-time strategy thrown in there. Although, I'm not the biggest RTS game fan, the art style and the action combat have me intrigued.

One thing is for sure and that is the fact that aims to be unique like Okami and Shinsekai. For now they have my attention

This is my personal most highly anticipated game of the year. This is everything that SHOULD be in gaming. Visually stunning, conceptually imaginative, pushing boundaries. Well done, devs.

onimusha-like but youkai themed game, using classic camera angle with modern approach. Capcom really has good creative team.

It feels so fresh, never had that feeling for a long time when watching a new game trailer, I'll buy it day one. ;)

This game actually looks fun, the graphic alongside the artstyle, especially the VFX are really top notch. But I'm hoping there will be more than one playable & controllable character. I'm setting my eyes on the shrine maiden because I'm a huge sucker for playing backline, voguing, slaying, and dancing my way into buffing the team and exorcising the shit out of enemies.

Man, when you least expect there's no more culture shock from Japan, you got flabbergasted by this. Reminds me of Okami, but like looking through a horror/Uki-oe/Yokai window with a lot of Buddhism and Shinto. Hell yeah I'm in.

That defense idea looks so Kingdom that if they added multiplayer they could call it Gami: Two Crowns where we defend our collected villagers from the Greed as they pour through the portal every night. Looks neat.

The art style is so beautiful. Really contrasts well with other high-definition games that elect to use their graphics mixed with "realistic" muddy coloration.
