Kurt Angle can do it all, not only an amazing technical wrestler, he gets the audience in his palm. He can easily make people cheer, boo, laugh, and cry.
Part of what made Kurt so good wasnt how good he was in the ring...it was his ability to go from absolute idiot backstage to someone that you take seriously as a main eventer within 10 minutes is crazy.
Kurt Angle was an anomaly. He could be deadly serious. He could be freakin’ ridiculous. But he was a GOD in that ring and we’ll never get another one like him.
Kurt was the kind of guy who could probavbly wear a diaper and still kick your ass. It doesn't matter how ridiculous what he did outside the ring was, he was a beast inside the ring and a legit asskicker.
@@siddhantahuja351He who shall remain unamed, if you cannot tell from that he wrestled Kurt at WM17 and the following two PPVs in a trilogy. He was considered one of the best ring technicians ever, in a 2017 interview Kurt even said he'd have to be top 3 of all time.
I can’t say it enough; Kurt Angle has a MIGHTY strong case for best ever. He was funny, terrifying, chicken shit heel, aggression based bad ass, the WORKS. Dude could go in the ring, mic and everything between. Five tool wrestler!
@@ConleySmooge still makes me laugh today, all the segments with Austin were hilarious, I get he was a crutch for Austin due to his issues but Kurt carried him and made the segments.
As a kid, I couldn't comprehend or appreciate just how good Kurt was. Now as an adult, I realize that I was damn lucky to get to enjoy his time in WWE.
Kurt really does not get enough credit for just how funny he was. I will always chuckle at moments like when he was Austin's sidekick and wore that tiny cowboy hat, his rendition of "I'm a Sexy Kurt", or his self-own response of "Your mother taught me how!" to the "You suck!" chants at One Night Stand. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Kurt angle imo is the greatest wrestler of all time. He could do it all. Literally. Never seen a wrestler being able to wrestle, talk, use power, use quickness, use skill all while being massively entertaining and somwhow still be taken seriously. My favorite wrestler of all time!
Kurt was, and probably forever always will be, my absolute favorite wrestler. Dude could put on a match like few others in the history of the biz ever could, and the cut of his jib on the mic... Fk me, man. He could crack the crowd up like no other, face or heel.
Crazy how much of life Kurt got to experience. Super humbling and humanizing stuff, I bet. Guy must feel blessed and thankful just waking up everyday. Even crazier, he shared it to us to keep us entertained and share something with us. Class act.
He was an addict for quite a while and even got fired because of it. So he's seen some dark places too. But I respect him more because he mad3 it thru all that clean
He was a local hero in the town I grew up in. When he had his court hearings for chances to see his daughter, all of Coraopolis PA would stand outside the court house and support him. I remember seeing him at the bars in the area just talking to people like he wasn't a star. The man is legit a nice person. ❤ He has his past but he definitely made up for it
Hes 1000% right that Kurt doesnt get the credit he deserves for his character work. He was HILARIOUS when he wanted to be, like crack people up funny. I picture the tiny cowboy hat
Kurt was an incredible actor honestly, he completely shelved his ego and went 100% into whatever character he needed to be that week, I really love looking back and seeing how good he really was when I didn’t fully appreciate it as a kid
For him to effortlessly transition from Olympic to Pro Wrestling was unbelievable. His promos were always gold. And as Taker said he could go in that ring.
Kurt’s match against Tazz at Royal Rumble has to be one of the greatest matches I’ve ever watched, Tazz should’ve been given a push, his suplex skills were unreal!
Kurt is one of the greatest ever. Heel, babyface, serious, comedy act...he could do it all. Great in the ring, on the mic, at working his character, every aspect of the industry.
Kurt was an Olympic gold medalist and incredibly gifted athlete that actually bought into what the business was all about. He had great charisma, could get tons of heat, delivered some awesome promos, and he was one of the best in the ring.
I love hearing the Undertaker talk about old times and love hearing him show respect to the greats. I love Kurt for his ridiculous on-screen antics, such a fun era
In my opinion he is the goat. Cause he exelled at everything he should not have, never falling back on his strengths, just kept being the best wrestler alive as a backup option if his charisma didnt cut it. Sick.
As a child I never understood the character that Kurt developed but now 20 years later he is one of my favourite wrestlers to Google and watch highlights of
crazy how Kurt went from a rookie in pro wrestling to doing amazing stuff in like a year. other guys take years before they get to that level of charisma, timing , promo ability that kurt was at in such a short time. in ring he was a beast from the start but he also got better through the years.
Kurt understood the assignment from day one. He is one of the few guys who could play it serious or dumb, face or heel, and be over because he was always committed to the gimmick no matter which way it went.
This is exactly why Kurt is so good. He's so funny outside the ring with his antics but when it comes time to wrestle, he does everything right. The ring psychology, the pacing, and of course, the actual wrestling part.
Kurt Angle without a Doubt is one of the best professional wrestlers of all time. From his promos to being a heel to being a great performer in the ring. He had it all.
Kurt could act with all those goofy antics but at the same time he was also a convincing main event star. He was really a rare gem during his time in WWE.
For me Kurt is the perfect wrestler in every single aspect: face, heel, tecnical, hard-core, promo, commedy, quality of match, tag team, Gm... Like a complete package he is a best in a history for me.
Kurt used to come into a restaurant that I worked at every time he visited the city. He was always giving out free tickets and merch to the staff. Super nice guy
