If the case has pogo connectors then you may not need to remove the case. Which ESR magnetic case are you using? Magnet cases for iPads are so rare.

@@teohontech7141 I'm using like the ESR switch case. I think it's called. It's their latest one for the 13-in model. I thought it would be beneficial because it has a stand that you can put in multiple angles for drawing. It's been pretty good. You can take it out of the folio and it still has a magnetic backing that the case attaches to. I just went for it because most folio cases don't protect the sides of the iPad

Mine has grain too if I look 3cm away from the display. Looks like it's an OLED limitation as many are talking about it.

There's no popup to install Chinese keyboard. Nothing happens when keyboard is attached. You can still use your other bluetooth keyboards with the tablet on the stand.

I have the X44 and did get the pop up to add a Chinese keyboard layout or input method. It only happens once, and probably only if you don't have them added yet, but it does not give a great first impression. Especially since keyboards are potentially able to trigger various things. It's probably required for how their hack works, but at the very least they should have changed it pretend to be an English keyboard instead, for international customers anyway.

Many of such stands are just white label products. Having said that, Kuxiu does make some adjustments so that their stands aren't just the generic ones. And among the white label products, the ones priced more reasonably are from Lululook. I've used their stands for more than a year and it works great. As for compatibility, it's best to get those non-magnetic stands that can work with all tablet, and they are much cheaper too, around usd 20 or less. I've sold most of my stands and leaving behind just a generic non-magnetic stand, and a magnetic stand for the Tab S9 Ultra.

That dot is from enabling the keyboard. AssistiveTouch just shows the much bigger button. These two settings are needed for the virtual keyboard to show.

The one with the rotating base currently works with 2024 iPad Pro, but not 2024 iPad Air. The normal folding and arm stands work with 2024 Pro and Air. But they should update the rotating base stand soon.
