To think that it's a combination of multiple character choices that led to Clark exposing himself as Superman to Kyle. • Jordan using his powers put Kyle on his trail. • Jonathan being near the vicinity of Jordan's use of his powers, also put Kyle on the trail, and made Jonathan the prime suspect. • Chrissy refused to run Kyle's suspicions in the paper in order to protect Clark's secret, which led to Kyle trying to dig deeper and led to further complication involving Lana. • Lana ignores Chrissy's attempt to warn her about Kyle getting too close to Clark's secret because Lana has issues with Kyle and projects those issues onto Chrissy. By the time Lana realizes that Kyle's on the trail, Sarah has complicated the situation further, and Lana makes it worse by being unable to tell Kyle the truth, which upsets Kyle and makes him try to confront Jonathan. Kyle then just shows up at the Kent house at the wrong time. Clark tries to protect the family secret, but he hears that he's needed as Superman. Kyle makes things difficult and Clark is forced to reveal his secret, which is just going to cause further complications for everyone involved.
@@thezu9250 - 16 is not a "young teen". Those boys will legally be *men* in less than two years. Which makes saying something also a safety precaution because does Clark want Kyle to have Jon take risks because he incorrectly assumes that he has super powers? Although it's all irrelevant now that they gut the cast and the whole list of Smallville storylines are basically over.
@@daniels7907 I've watched the first season... I don't think he's smart enough for that kind of logic. I repeat ... it's not wise to challenge even a normal man in front of his own house, after dark, demanding to talking to one of his sons - and doing it with a hostile and demanding demeanor?
@@kathleenhensley5951 - Plus, it's Kansas. A normal man might have still invoked Castle Doctrine and shot Kyle for trying to force his way to see the boys while acting so belligerently. That said, the whole situation is ironic because Clark almost never shuts up about keeping The Secret so that they can all live "normal lives". But he's also the one who flaunts himself and his powers in front of people more than anybody. Just contrast Clark's first save where he was strutting around, face uncovered, and even said a few words to the boy he rescued. Skip ahead a couple of decades and he punishes Jordan for posing for a selfie while wearing a hood and mask.

Damn this shows you just how gentle Clark really is with humans by keeping his temper calm just stopped Kyle with two damn fingers I mean when he was in the Diner with Candice's dad we saw holding back too but he had his whole hand on him to make a point. And I am just really amazed on how everyone took the Kent family secret so well especially Lana she didn't even yell at Clark for not telling her all those years they grew up together yet she'll yell at Lois and be pissed with her that I felt was unfair I mean it's her Husband how could she tell Lana that right even when they voted she wasn't sure if Lana should know or not remember keeping something like that is not easy really have to be carful on what you say around people like yeah that's my dad he's so super oh wait I mean awesome. Well as long as Lex doesn't find out that would be bad if he knew I get the felling he may one day if he does let's hope Clark Lois and the boys are ready to face him together
Kyle had no business trying to expose the mystery hero, he should've just been happy that someone is helping the town Kyle is also so damn arrogant he thinks he can walk onto private property and demand a minor tell him his personal life, if Kyle had bothered using his brain he wouldve remembered the town had been affected by X-K, the school team had been juicing on X-K AND Jon was injured twice Kyle had no right to storm onto the Kent farm to confront Jon, then not leaving when the land owner asks them to leave You would think Kyle had been drinking with the way he threw his weight around
And don’t forget Zeta-Rho,Tal-Rho and his kryptonian army that invaded earth attempting to take over ppls bodies. Or last season with Ally Alston and those evil doppelgängers. Kyle seemed to have forgotten all those strange events in his pursuit of the truth
That was just dumb showing up at Clarke's farm. I mean didn't Kyle see what Clarke did at the diner. Well hopefully now that he knows Clarke is superman, he will leave him & his family alone. To me they don't owe him answers. He hasn't earned that right yet to know Clarke's family secret. If anything, Kyle should be saying thank you instead of going off like that. I mean I'm glad Clarke said be damn to Kyle & went to help his wife. But this scene to be on Kyle part learning who Clarke is it didn't feel earned. I felt all of the other reveals during the past two seasons was earned. Kyle is acting like it was Clarke's fault the accident happened. This scene was a big letdown.
Ugh its annoying that Kyle even try to go after jon like that ..when the boys came outside.. I'm glad that Clark was protecting his boys.. no guy at Kyle age should act this way.. going after a teen boy like that.. then keeps pushing Clark for answers..like he owns the place and owns everyone.. ugh I don't like kyle...
@@oliviamadison5989 you would think Kyle didn't know Superman existed with the way he went all sherlock trying to expose a hero Superman built a rep by helping public services, then after Superman showed up advocating for Lana, Kyle should've been happy with why strange heroics happened, was it really that much of a stretch for Kyle to think "Superman spoke up for Lana, maybe he did the saves the ice appeared at!" But no this dumb ass shit Kyle being angry at nothing, was a bad way to bring him into the secret He had no right storming onto the Kent farm, and then refusing to leave when asked, accusing Jon of being a super when he had no proof, Kyle should be grateful someone is helping the community, instead he gets jealous and wants to expose them (suggesting an article of revealing a mystery hero)
@@Bustuhh kyle wasnt angry at nothing he was confused and knew that sara and lana were liying and that they were gaslighting him, even the police officer didnt believe him. so its logical to want to put the anger on somebody so he pieces things together like at the diner when superman wasnt phased by the push and that when superman came to smallville so did clark. so he knew somethhing was up and went to confront them.
He'll blame his failed marriage on to Clark. His possession.. to this moment! Everything will be Clark's fault. And says this Chrissy she goes off! He looses it yet again and blames Clark and his family yet again! Will be used as a pawn by someone and ends up dying! Then Sara goes down the spiral blames Jordan! Ends up evil to redeem herself in few episodes! Being a simp he's he'll forgive her and move on! That's how it always goes!
Clark did this to reinforce his statement that Jon doesn't have powers Clark will pretend Jordan doesn't have powers either, then next episode is said to be a clash of Jordan and his parents, so likely Clark berates Jordan for hanging around after the save, if he hadnt done that, the save would've been put down as Superman helped

And as far as the clash between Jordan and his parents goes something tells me this is going to get ugly and besides I bet Clark did the same thing when he was Jordan’s age plus Clark and Lois have to learn that sometimes they have to let Jordan make mistakes that’s one of the only ways he’ll grow and learn
@@micahfranklin4560 when Clark revealed his secret to Lana, it was grounded in a mystery that involved a car crash, Clark saved them, but Lana didn't know who did it or how they got saved, all she knew was is that she survived a car crash she should've died in Jordan after saving Sarah, stayed so that Sarah could see him, and only flew away when Junior saw him So the clash of the Kents, its about "Why did you stay to be seen, do the save and vanish!" Also keep in mind I said parents, so both Clark and Lois will be pissed off at Jordan for being reckless, especially when Sam showed Jordan a photo of a mystery hero putting out a forest fire, the entire point of cutting his hair (which he didn't do) and wearing a suit was to separate personas So now Sam Lane, and the Kents (parents) have to clean up Jordans mess, especially now that Clark was forced to out his secret
@@micahfranklin4560 as for Clark as a teen, he had the presence of mind to cover his face, when a group of robbers tried to steal tvs, Clark wore a balaclava with black clothing to hide his identity Jordan only has goggles (bad choice of disguise papa Sam) to obscure his face However what separates Clark and Jordan is the way they handle the heroics vanishing to save, doing the save without being seen, and getting away (having an excuse for vanishing to save) Clark isn't perfect, but he had nobody to teach him, so he's trying to guide Jordan, who isn't learning
@@Bustuhh Jordan only stayed for a few seconds to make sure that Sarah was ok what he should’ve done was make sure that Sarah was ok and vanish immediately or hide in the woods and then take off and his hair was covered but Jordan could also wear glasses like his Dad and take them off when he gets home and Jordan is not perfect either but your right he does need to understand how serious protecting his identity I just hope they are not too hard on him cuz Jordan is not perfect he is going to make mistakes just like everyone else

Thinking of buying the first season just to try it out, I like the superman scenes I've seen. Kyle is dumber than a stick. Even when a normal man says, 'l'll talk to you later on' its best to leave.
