She lied because it wasn’t her secret to tell and she was protecting a friend. What was his excuse for sleeping with someone else and keeping it a secret from his wife? He was protecting his own ass!
What gets me is how calm everyone was when they found out especially Lana I thought she would throw a fit her best friend and first love not telling her his secret after all the years they've known each other yet she lashes out at Lois and not him that was the confusing part even if they were starting to become BFF's
@@shadowspidey7327She was jealous of Lois so like all women who feel scorned or heartbroken they take it out on the other woman rather than the guy they fell for.
@@shadowspidey7327You're right Lois wasn't going to betray Clark's trust if Lana wanted to know she should've asked Clark. And it would've been his choice to tell her or not unlike Lana on Smallville who did very shady & dirty things to force Clark to tell her his secret. It only pushed him further away one episode where he did tell her he did it out of fear & desperation of losing Lana not of his own free will. When Lois learned the truth she didn't confront him with it she waited until he told her & her response was "What took you so long" & Clark had a look of shocked at first then turned into a huge grin that alone really got me. Clark knew he found his better half & it wasn't Lana.
@catspaw3092 That's what I like about the differences about Lois and Lana about how they are with Clark. Lana locked Chloe in the Wine Seller in Smallville like you said a dirty move to make. When Lois was calm and waited for him to tell her same as in Superman & Lois Clark took her to his home and told her the truth on who he really was and Lois excepted it showing her love for him. Lana in this series is sweet and cares about Clark they were in love and are now best friends but for Lana to be mad Lois I just saw as unfair cause again her Husband is Superman and she keeps that secret she can't go just telling everyone even if it is a close friend of the family. Heck Jordan wanted to tell Sarah the Kent family secret but Clark was right when he said he's not sure of he'll marry her Sarah was his fist crush and girlfriend his Father thought he'd end up with her mother after his training at the fortress was finished but he was wrong came back and Lana moved on. Worked out for the better for the better too cause of all the years I've seen Clark and Lois together they are endgame now and forever I hate in some universes they're not together like in John Henry Irons world or worse were she's actually married to Lex. When Chrissy found out she wanted to tell Kyle but respected the Kent's and Kyle even got upset she didn't tell him again not a secret to be told by just anyone I mean if you're being torture or someone who care about is captured and forces you to tell that's different like in Flash for example Captain Cold took Cisco's brother to force him to who The Flash really was Cisco I know some fan's say he shouldn't have told but it was his Brother he knows Cold would have killed him. So Lana really had no reason to be mad at all at Lois TBH when Clark told her she took way better than I thought no slap to the face course that would have been dump would have broken her hand no yelling him either yet she take that out on his wife so not right IMO
CW can't write a character who does take lying well. Every character they ever make just has to have a "you lied to me moment". There are never any characters who just have the intelligence or agency to be like "that was a fair lie, pretty reasonable actually." It's honestly really annoying
Right? Heaven forbid any of them ever interact with lawyers, doctors, someone who works for the government or military in classified operations or someone who signed an basic NDA. They'd flip their bleep over not being entitled to complete access to something they haven't proven themselves worthy or competent to keep secret themselves.
This was the crossroads for Sarah. When she finally acknowledged her own spiral in 1:56 it made me sad and happy. Sarah is finally aware of how her own mental health is going and taking accountability for it. I had my own downward spiral and getting my first official job was what began the steps to me bettering myself. The whole season Sarah has been struggling with being aimless. I think that's part of why she was distant and rude with Jordan. Seeing the boy you love have his calling (saving the world no less) while not having one yourself is not the best feeling. Sarah just needs something to focus on and what gives her purpose. Like Kyle, everyone's gotta start somewhere. With a job, Sarah can learn responsibility and with that, can begin the hard, long, and rewarding process of earning back everyone's trust.
she never would be a good character it will be the same all the seasons bruh lol same wih jordan he always gonna be the toy of her the showrunners like that shlt.
So they made Kyle Hispanic, that's awesome since actor Erik Valdez is part Spanish and part Irish. I was surprised when he said "Mijita" which is a contraction of "Mi hijita" which means "My little daughter/ My little Girl. This is cool. Edit: Also when he said "...Your abuelita" which is "...Your Grandma"
jordan the only mistake he made was be with her. that girl needs some damn help, jordan have problems but still try to be his better version but sarah? nah
@@blacky8987I wouldn’t be so sure about that couples have the hiccups plus I guess that DUI and nearly got into a car accident was a wake up call for her and now she is cleaning up her act
I don't like it either no one but his family should know Clark's secret what happens when people like Lex start lurking around? Sarah maybr able to keep her mouth shut but her dad not so much & considering Clark was his wife's first love that really bites in the heart. Or Kyle could end up in a situation where his family is being threatened & he offeres to give up Clark's identity which will end up hurting Clark's family & cause Sarah to hate her father & for his now ex wife Lana to hate him as well.
Well to be fair at least we get a season 4 and wasn't one those HARDCORE gets you pissed off but psyched for the next season cliffhanger just to out right cancel the show cause the NEW management are complete Dbags
I'm really amazed on how well everyone who found out Clark Kent is Superman the man of steel himself took it so calmly no big giant lash outs or anything even Lana his childhood friend and first love took it way better than I thought. TBH thought how can no one see it's Clark as Superman anyways those Glasses really do not hide much at all even Lana said how could she not tell and his voice is exactly the same he doesn't bother to muffle it like Batman does well than again Clark said it himself people see who they want to see but still come on same height same jawline not even his hit changes that much like in the shows movies or comics just saying is all least Jordan had a mask to cover his face even if he did suddenly get glasses everyone should know who he is on the spot his hair will defiantly give him away
Ive said it before and no one seems to understand the glasses thing, Originally Clark had such control of his muscle he could slightly alter his facial muscles so with the slight change to his face added to the glasses made him look like a different person
That's not a thing. It's psychology. You're looking for a super hero, but you're seeing Clark Kent. It doesn't matter that they look the same. You're not looking for a disguise. @@RichardHarris-nw9gx
Not only that, but altering his posture and behaviour goes a long way into conveying a whole other person. Christopher Reeve in the movies was incredible in the transition between the Clark Kent and Superman personas. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-tNUu6Lf9mVU.html&ab_channel=AndrewCroke@@RichardHarris-nw9gx
I was at Denny's the other day and the server looked just like Jennifer Aniston with glasses. Conclusion: Jennifer Aniston has a secret other life as a Denny's employee. ... see how that sounds? That's the number one reason nobody suspects Clark is Superman: the notion that Superman has a whole secret other life just sounds nuts. Beyond which, Clark really carries himself very differently from Superman. Even if I noticed the similarity in appearance, the difference in demeanor would make me go "... nahh, couldn't be".
Did Kyle somehow not notice that adult Clark is more buff than he is? In fact, exactly the same kind of buff as Superman. Those glasses really are amazing! Are they Kryptonian tech? Did Doctor Who modify them into a "perception filter"?
@@Yvng_Zy - What are you talking about? Superman has stood around Main Street for long periods when the DoD was encamped there. He's also one of the most visible people on Earth in terms of being imaged. Remember that, unlike in some older versions, on this show his first interview with Lois was on TV!
@@Yvng_Zy - Lana *talked* to him before she was voluntarily possessed by his mother in S1! Like, they were facing each other not that many feet apart! And she's known him since they were children!
It's because perception is a bitch people who know Clark wouldn't think that Clark is Superman simply because of Clark's personality and the traits he show so it be hard for someone who knew Clark since he was a kid that he grow up to become a alien superhero 🤣
Sarah may need to wait for 5 years to apply to college. If she's 16 now, then she will have to wait until she's 21 before her DUI is removed from her record. At least she has a job to keep her busy until then.
Bruh, the one thing I hated about Flash and Arrow was when the female love interests overreacted to their spouses keeping a very protected secret. Felicity and Oliver with William, is was not Olivers secret to tell. I cant recall something from Flash, but Im sure Iris overreacts as well.
You can't recall because it's all the fucking time about the most stupid things, only reason the mirror Iris worked is because she wasn't acting any crazier to anyone else
@@uchiha_murilo3148 Iris: You betrayed my trust, Barry. How can I love you if you could not trust me enough to tell me what really happened? Barry: It was a toothbrush ffs
i hate when people get mad at not telling them some else's secret. Kyle got pissed at the secret that wasn't told to him but yet hes agreeing to kept the secret himself.
"oh, I just found out a guy my husband knew since they were children has been hiding the fact that he's a bulletproof alien and a superhero but has kept his secret well and is taking a massive risk by letting me find out, better spill the beans immediately to all my friends and family lest they get offended"
Kyle: Somethings going on with the kents her: your crazy babe. You're going insane thinking that. You're mental if you think the Kents have a secret No... i think him being pissed at her for gaslighting him is justified. She made him question his own sanity with her constant "your crazy" lies. Surprised he didnt go full American and slap her. Because we all know, out in the good ol' USA, you red necks love beating women.
William: "She got dumped weeks ago; she just didn't know it. Like a bad guy from a samurai movie who gets cut in half but thinks that they're fine, until, *Oh my God, my top half is sliding away from my bottom half! Ooh, whoa!* "
I would ask Kyle if he has ever seen a picture of Superman, if that Mf did and didn't make the connection, I don't know if he deserves to have a spot in the gene pool
It wasn't a "phase", she tried to take her life once and would have died if her mother didn't save her in time. Attention seekers don't go that far or get that close to actually dying.
