@@nicorodriguez9399 No Kyrie wanted to leave Shaq which is LeBron, Kyrie wanted to do what Kobe did in fact when Kobe was a youngster almost in the same age as Kyrie, he wanted to get traded just like Irving did, his targets where the bulls, Sixers, clippers. But Dr. Jerry buss choose Kobe over Shaq because Kobe was younger and knew he was going to bring in more rings without Shaq. Unfortunately the owner of the Cavs choose LeBron over Kyrie. So Kyrie tried to replicate what Kobe did but he ended up failing and now his team mates are going to start disliking him even more. And what's frustrating Irving has a team something Kobe didn't get until later on when buss wasted 3 precious prime years of his career.

Being one or the older guy with experience now in boston. it was hard to share ur knowledge to young guys who feels like they know what to do becoz of their talents. . . That is how kyrie sees his self when he was with lebron. . . Dont take it as negative shot to his teammates. Accept the fact that experience is the best teacher. accepting mistake is a sign of maturity. The young core must accept this fact if they really want to Win! Being sensitive and cant take criticisms wont help them grow. Take it to kyrie.... he knows the feelings.

He should have opnened upto the media about the phone call but only if he managed to gain that leadership in the Celtics locker room or left them for good. Then if the media asks him "how did you fix your team problems?" or "why did you leave?" then he can talk about how he called lebron bla bla and his previous mistakes. Right now there are in the middle of resolving that issue and it feels like he was indireclty putting down his teammates and making the problem worse.

Everybody knows Kyrie is the best Celtics player and just because he didn't play in the playoffs doesn't mean he wasn't the leader up until he got hurt last April. People act like he lost rank or something. Barkley's right, the celtics got to the ECF without him, but they lost the series because nobody could effectively threaten the paint in Game 7. The Cavs had figured out Rozier's game by then. My point is they need Kyrie he was a leader before and after his injury, but now everybody's talking like he aint. Home court got them to ECF they won 1 road game. Kyrie was leading majority of regular season getting them 2nd place and home court advantage over every team in the east except Toronto whom they never faced. They will definitely need Kyrie and they beat mediocre teams. East was trash last season and been trash since Celtics got old, or since Pistons got broken up in 2006 and Shaq got old on Miami. It was trash before that since Jordan left the Bulls and Ewing and Mourning got old. It has 1 good team most of the time. This the first time it might have more than 2 at the same time in 2 decades. But we won’t know until the playoffs start how good these teams really are.
