As a die hard Cleveland Cavaliers fan just hearing these stories almost brings tears to my eyes. Us coming back from down 3-1 was the happiest moment in my life. I've been a suffering Cleveland sports fan for SO long. That moment was amazing.

Bron and Kyrie really came back down 3-1 by themselves. Love was a shell of himself playing with a concussion. He only avg 8&6 that series, Bron and Kyrie were legendary in the 2016 Finals and they are one of my all time favorite duos in nba history. Soo many legendary highlights between those two in games 3,5-7🔥🔥🔥

There's a difference between playing with someone that could be the best player in the league (Durant) and someone that's arguably the best ever (LeBron). I think Kyrie KNEW he would never get the shine he wanted with LeBron. No matters where LeBron is it's HIS team. Everyone else is a role player. He also wants to see if he can carry a team. Nothing wrong with it.

i think the issues started with the media acting like lebron is kyries father, weve all seen the clips of it happening and kyries reaction to it. I think it eventually started to get to him and build resentment in lebron

FACTS: If it wasn’t for Kyrie going down in 2015 Finals - Cleveland would’ve won that series - and DAMN - almost did- Bron controlled the pace of games and Delladova and Shumpert played hellacious defense! In 2016 - Cleveland was destined to win - and the complexion of the series changed in game 3 - the desperation game - when Bron and Kyrie blitzed Curry near half court and Bron stole the ball and tossed it to Kyrie on the breakaway and pointed up to the basket - Kyrie threw an alley oop just far right above the square of the backboard - and it seemed like Bron took an elevator up to snare the ball and slammed it into the basket!! The arena erupted and the Cavs went on to blow GSW out. Fuck what Matt kept pointing out about the Draymond game 5 suspension- Cavs weren’t losing another game - they were DETERMINED! And Draymond played games 6 and 7 - didn’t matter!!

That 2016 was a memorable one for many people and not just in Cleveland

People got to realize the Cavs flipped the switch on Kyrie, they had hired David Blatt and were ready to build with Kyrie as the centerpiece. Bron chose to return and the entire vision of the organization changed, that definity had to take some adjusting to get used to for Kyrie for sure

Matt Barnes stresses Draymond being suspended as if Draymond not playing is what caused GSWs to lose the Finals. They forget the Cavs won FOUR games in that series. 1 game without Draymond on the floor. But the Cavs won 3 games WITH Draymond playing his heart out.

Per NBA rules, players have automatically accessed a one-game suspension after receiving 16 technical fouls in the regular season. Then the player receives one-game suspensions after every two technical fouls going forward….. nba rules & Draymond is the only reason he was suspended not LeBron he had a history of going for peoples jewels that year & they still had game 6 & 7 still loss stop making them weak excuse

Kyrie didn’t want his accomplishments to be overshadowed by LeBron much like how Kobe didn’t want his accomplishments overshadowed by Shaq.

They had a natural basketball partnership which could have led to multiple championships. Unfortunately, the age old human battles with envy, jealousy and delirium of one's overestimating of themselves led to the breakdown of this partnership. A big shame really.
