Newzroom Afrika's Xoli Mngambi is in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, the province with rising levels of extortion and construction mafia cases. The KZN government has declared a war on these crimes with the latest incident being the gunning down of six suspected extortionists in a shootout with police earlier this month. KZN police spokesperson Robert Netshiunda has more.

Our useless judges will say those charges must run concurrently. . .meaning he can be charged 5yrs for each count, and instead of serving 20yrs they can easily serve only 5yrs with a posibility of parole in 2 and half years.
