l chopped off all the leaves on my Monstera, this happened 

This is what happened to my Monstera Deliciosa when l cut it in half and pruned all the leaves off. This lovely plant is also called Swiss cheese or salad plant because of the holes and splits in the leaves ( fenestrations).
