Looks like a slick solution. I agree re the hose armor for the chain. I don't know if I would skip the couple seconds threading the carabiner closed, not so much out of worry about it bouncing out but out of it bouncing around and straightening it out on you. I've enjoyed your L2501 videos, when I daydream about moving to the country it involves one of these. Have a good day.

About 7 years ago I made a temporary (I'm still using it) fix by using a rope attached to the top of my ROPS to keep my hydraulic top link from dropping onto my draw bar when I disconnected my implements. Long story short; I discovered that it is important to make sure the rope is long enough to allow the implement to drop all the way down to its lowest point during use. I also discovered that on my Kubota M9540; the rope makes it easier to maneuver the top link into position while backing up to implements. Thanks for the video, I've been wondering how to do a nicer job of restraining my top link.
