I'm amazed by the fact that a group of students could produce a masterpiece that could far surpass any short film made by any massive-budget film company. Bravo to them.
The entire film is in its own way symbolic and stupendous. the art and direction is eccentric and the story is morbidly exquisite. Death and war play the theme for this film. How it plays well into the human war machine presented as the sea of helmets complements for the long cannons represented as financial power and military strength. The wall and were the red man looks represents society. having it broken represents war. The soldier turning into a flower is peace. and the sequence follows on.
I'm really into vids like this. And the music you chose while they were charging was just awesome. It enforced the part so well. The motion shits were amazing as well, it felt so fast when they were charging. I give this video 5 out of 5.
I FOUND IT! I watched this two years ago and have spent about a year and a half trying to find it! Im so so so happy i found it seeing as its one of my favourite animations!
Good animation, very good cinematography, engaging content, dark and weird but not for the sake of being dark and weird - interesting moral. Really like it!
