Cool thanks. I have this one and the original. I just bought Fahrenheit from Dior online. It's as good as I remember but it only lasts 7 hours now instead of 12.

+Jon Italia I like doir men por homme has a nutmeg type smell. I personally like smelling like that, although I rarely get any compliments from it. I used to get compliments from pradas por homme as well, soapy fresh smell another I like personally. some fragrances that I don't like ladies seem to like, strange.

I didn't like it either bought it as a blind buy gave away the bottle after 3 sprays and then got some testers coz of all d hype and now i am getting used to it Intially made me puke haha and some weird feeling in my stomach

I would say this is probably better for guys 25+. Seems more sophisticated than most younger men, but your mileage may vary of course.

+Lycosa I haven't tried many versions of this, so I'm not sure. But when we reviewed it, we tried it from the current version at that time, so I doubt anything has changed much since the recording. I love the scent. :)

M Shlock Welp, I bought La Nuit and its 2015/2016 the new reformulated one. It was reformulated several times during 2012-2015 I've heard and seen. I got the weakest, newest one. It's pretty bad. I can admit that even having bought it. Not worth a buy.... i think. It smells good and nice ''skin-scent'' for making love with a woman or hugs they can smell the fragrance. But it doesnt project, doesnt last much. Lasts some hours as skin scent. Less than 8 hours for sure. and first 30min maybe it projects slightly, but really it's a skin scent only. Too weak reformulated. Disappointing :/.

Chris Coffey actually I haven't tried the EDP. It seems harder to find, and I'm not entirely sure if it is still available. Either way, this is a fantastic fragrance. :)

Ah great to hear. Its pretty common in these parts and I wasn't sure which to go for. I don't have the nose for details yet but the EDP seems way more muted to me. Anyways! Thanks guys, great video!

what is EDT and EDP?

EDT is eau De toilette and EDP is eau De parfum. The only difference between the two is that EDP usually has a higher volume of fragrance oils in it (somewhere in the region of 5% generally) and that, in theory, makes the EDP stronger and longer lasting, but this is not always the case. In some cases the two can actually have completely different scents as well (like La nuit) so people can have a preference for one over the other beyond the perceived higher quality or whatever

So there's 2 type versions to this fragrance? Didn't know that. I just bought a few different bottles on fragrance net based on reviews. I have know no knowledge in this field so thanks for the knowledge.. But in all honesty is this ysl as good as they say?

I would think that most reviewers would have mentioned that. I have actually revised my view somewhat...I guess I am a little more appreciative of its so called metrosexual appeal after several applications. Its clearly an exceptionally well blended and very pleasant smelling fragrance but just not masculine enough. Whats your view on that aspect of it?

+Lycosa Hi...yes its wildly popular...but I hardly get compliments from females when wearing this. When I do get compliments it is normally from older females. My main issue with La Nuit is its light powdery presentation. As I said CH Men which is my favourite (and I have many of the hyped and popular ones) though sweet is distinctly masculine, playful yet sophisticated sexy and unique with its sugar cane, leather, bergamot, tonkabean combo. CH is an absolute beast of a compliment getter...and even more importantly....I feel good wearing it and women really react to it...it affects them as I expect a fabulously sexy masculine scent would! Strangely enuff I find La Nuit more useful for day wear....great for the office. That is when I tend to get a few compliments. Very pleasant fragrance yes...but to my mind just not one for the club, bar or night scene in general where social interaction with females is the main aim...in that regard...for me CH wins handsdown. La Nuit is a classy fragrance no doubt....but just not masculine enough for my taste.

I'm not sure. I honestly don't keep up with batches. If I am correct, I believe I have heard that the 2013 year was not one of their best, but that the current version is much better.
