You work with surgical precision and we can see why mistakes can be costly. Keep on showing the world that trucking is serious business. My hockey team lost in the finals in the 8 th annual lachute tournament but I won't hold it against you Doug....Keep on trucking!
Hello again. Although I never got to drive by an old school, I did deliver to a jobsite that one of my brothers worked at. I had an escalator and he worked as an high voltage electrician . Have a good one.
My late wife was from north of Brownsburg/Dalesville and her and all the brothers and sisters all went to LRHS. I spent lots of time in Lachute over the years. Another great video!!
It all depends on the work! Hard to make interesting videos when I’m dispatched boring loads! Winter is coming also and it’s hard to film in winter. The cameras get dirty quickly. But I’m trying!!!
All that trouble for only one exit. High loads are a pain sometimes ! Good job there. Made me smile, I just finish 5 months at Lavigne (CFP) for my double DEP. :)
@@luckybananaheavyhaul3407 thanks ! I've done some oversize, but no super loads. Air handling units in NYC at night, some military stuff, construction vehicles. Didn't want to do that on a regular basis because you know when you have to leave, but never when you'll be back. I loved it though. It always felt special. But I've also been stuck 5 days in the back of a small Staples in a subburb of Boston waiting for the Police escort's permit to do 1 mile inside the main city. Lol I enjoy your videos, reminds me of good times. Nowadays, when I feel the blues of the road, I just jump on American Trucker Simulator and it sustain me for a while. 😆
Wo c’était juste une virée pour le fun?!! Vous auriez été capable de faire le drive thru Tim Horthons au coin de la maine avec cette équipe là😂 Good job guys!
Lachute is your hometown? How cool is that, my mother is from Lachute and I spent a couple of summers working at Lowe's Dairy and living with my grandparents who lived on Bethany right near Tessier where you turned. I have not been there in many years - it is almost unrecognizable now. :) Thanks for taking the time to make videos about heavy haul. They are entertaining and informative. Cheers!
I have broken many trailers over the years. Some were just unfortunate that age caught up with the equipment and the metal couldn’t support the weight anymore. Others were admittedly because the equipment was loaded over capacity. You get a lot of that in this business
i knew that looked familiar! we always take that route to bypass montreal when travelling between ontario and new brunswick with our travel trailer. Hawlesbury, Lachute, St Jerome, Jolliette and then the ferry. we have spent the night near mirabel several times
@@luckybananaheavyhaul3407 it keeps us off the main highways! St Lin is a nasty spot though. the ferry at sorel tracy is a nice break, the best way to cross the river
@@luckybananaheavyhaul3407 quebec is famous for that, you really have to watch for those even with a travel trailer thats only 8-6 wide. then there is that intersection, right by the historic site. keeps life interesting for sure!
Laurentian Regional High School is where you learned perfect English? You seem trilingual, according to some of your videos. P.S. I was pulling up the wires from my end.
My first language is English. I learned the basics of French in school yes but I got better later in life when I really realized the advantage. I wish I had more time to learn more languages
Was looking for a heavy haul oversized life skill. Unfortunately I get a mundane Canadian gentleman turn left or right ....oh well as talented as a box of rice.
Only one question.. Why the heck was going on.. You got out of the 50, one exit away from where you got back On again...... Why all that detour for nothing. ???
