1:12:58 Right by my old office there off Washington Avenue Extension in Albany, NY. Too bad they make you avoid the toll roads. Would've been a lot easier. Nobody wants to go by Crossgates Mall in a truck that long (or any vehicle, really)... 😊
I'm sure you get to California once in a while, but maybe just for vacations. I used to have comparable views on my daily commute, taking I280 between San Jose and San Mateo.
Fancy Gap is terrific! First time I went through there was 1997 when I moved from Minnesota to North Carolina. If you haven't been through it at night, put that on your bucket list!! I love the view as you come out of the mountains southbound on 77!
You're obliged to have (at least) one support vehicle whenever transporting anything wider than 3m here in Norway. A lot of preparation before loading and after haul, you are alone? Regulations here in Norway require two drivers for a transport like this, max driving time per day is 9hours (4,5hr - 45min rest - 4,5hr) but two days a week allows for 10hrs.
"Coffee machine in the truck " Westcoast log truckers would laugh !! Love seeing this historic port ! great video as always ! Best trucking music on RU-vid hands down ,, devil's in the details ,,
From time to time when you refer to what weight you transporting it , you also say it in kilograms for Europeans and the whole World who have no idea about the units of measurement in the United States !!!
I know, I know… the project got delayed so the next RU-vid video won’t be done for a while. In the mean time feel free to follow me on Instagram or Facebook where I post pictures of what I am doing more often!
I used to operate a 395 and loved that beast! Interesting to watch how they are transported. I suspect the 95 cant be done in one load with tracks and house like this one, but still fascinating to watch!
New to channel and loving it. 🙂 It's amazing how you can manouvre such long trailers!! Love the explanations and technical details you give along the way, it's very interesting. I'm also curious about the codes posted under each video, what are they?
Hi Doug(?) - another great video and picture of calmness in the face of adversity. Speaking of calmness, meet Aussie hauler Shane - runs his own RU-vid channel and is a constant source of entertainment (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-LgDoSHQltoU.html).
Enjoyed the video. It has a cool and professional vibe, and is interesting and relaxing to watch. Except for the fast-forward sections, with the repetitive "get up and go" music. They are kinda annoying. If you ask me, let it run at normal speed, with just the engine humming. You got a like and subscribe, and I'll check out the rest of your channel.
1:08:17 Who is controlling the back steering? In the other videos I see somebody have to get out, turn on the motor, then control it with a remote next to it, but it looks like none of that is happening.
Genuine question and if I sound like an idiot sorry, but why not take a section of the trailer out once you got to the crane yard, hook up to just the one section, then put the piece taken out on top and chain it down like in the beginning?
We could have done as you say. It just takes time. After the delivery we only had a one hour drive back to the terminal and the escort was going that way anyways so it just saved time to continue with the full length trailer.
Good evening Sir, i came from Mirko the German Guy from Canada ( speaks German all the Times, i been watching him over 2 Years) Your Chanel seen on RU-vid.
Hey, great video. But why don't you use a little bit grease at all the connectors, bolts, eyes, etc? I saw a lot of rust and dust on this Points of your trailer.
Only Justin Tredeau would put contrete planter boxes in an road intersection. May I ask the language you are speaking once you cross the border (to an Aussie it sounds like a cross between French and an Indian dialect). Cheers mate and thanks for the ride along.
Definitely amazing how impatient how people are although they see what you are doing. Cudos to you being patient doing your job and what you need to do no matter what! Be safe out there driver!!
