Thank you for being able to get Response filmed. I Love the Squad (51) Look alike behind the Engine. Glad to see big (Tender) responding fast and part of First due. The Pumpers will need a (Water support) such a Fast Response by wildland crews in there special Rigs. So important to get those crews out on back fires, support of First due County Units. And last but very important not least. The ( Air TANKERS) flying in straight Formation. Never crowding each other. Coming in one after another. The importance of Air ( TANKERS) to get a drop on Wildland Firefighting, before it is a FIRE Danger to Structures.

the provice of Quebec Canada owns the Scoopers and leases them to LA county each year sept to Newyears I believe and is been a yearly thing since chief Freeman nearly 20 years ago

@@jeffskene42 Not a lot of wildland fires in Quebec once the snow starts to fly. Yes, September-October usually sees the first snow. I went to school near Montreal. I took a friend from Yuma to Montreal for Christmas 'cause he said "Oh I love snow." We got there just in time for a blizzard. Haha!

The planes (CL-415's) are owned by the Quebec gov't- every year around Labor Day the planes (and their ground crews and pilots-over 100 people-) are re-deployed to LA on a 90 day term that can be extended if conditions warrant. Usually cooler weather sets in by that time in much of Quebec-particularly the northern parts which are sub-Arctic climate. Southern Quebec (where 95+% of the people live) still can have some forest fire danger right up until mid-October. The cooling in the north means that some planes and crews can be deployed elsewhere without compromising an effective response.

If your referring to the tender. I dare say he just re-filled his tank due to the water dripping off the rear which tells me he over filled and had excess water running off

When did LAcFD get PUCs?

They inherited them when they took over Vernon FD.

At the intersection of Rosemead Blvd and Gallatin Rd, there's a blue uniform officer directing traffic near an all white "Police" vehicle. Who/what department would that be, right there in the middle of LASO land?

At 5:11 looks like it's El Rancho USD Police on the back of the car. Pico Rivera has school police, but contracts with LASD for everything else.
