Sometimes what happens is we do syringing, but NS can't be injected in the puncta at all so no question of regurgitation; even after probing & giving pressure. What to do in such scenario & what could be the reason for that?
In those cases we need to decide bas d on probing..if on probing you get a soft stop, it means there is canalicular obstruction. The more proximal the obstruction, the more difficult it is to inject the fluid
