We continue our celebration of Thunderbirds' latest anniversary with this special presentation of the mini-album version of Vault of Death. In this specially prepared edit with newly filmed material, Lady Penelope (Sylvia Anderson) recounts the story of how she and Parker race to save a life at the Bank of England.
During the 1960s, the soundtracks of select episodes of Gerry and Sylvia Anderson's Thunderbirds were abbreviated and then supplemented with new in-character narration for release on a series of vinyl mini-albums. In recent years, new visuals were created by members of our team in order to bring this shortened, but no less exciting, version of the episode to life. What differences can you spot?

About Me:
Century 21 Films Ltd is a multi-faceted production company whose work spans drama to documentary, miniature effects to puppet shows. It was founded by a group of filmmakers who first collaborated on Filmed in Supermarionation, the story of Gerry and Sylvia Anderson's hit puppet shows including Thunderbirds, Stingray and Captain Scarlet.
Since then, we have worked for a multitude of high-profile clients including ITV, BBC, Mammoth Productions, British Film Institute and the Halifax working on projects such Thunderbirds, Endeavour, Doctor Who and The Twilight Zone.
In addition to our regular filmmaking services, we specialise in ‘Supermarionation’ - the puppetry filming technique used to make shows like Thunderbirds and have collaborated with ITV repeatedly to provide specialised services. Vault of Death was transmitted on ATV London on Christmas Day 1965 at 6.35pm. And with Supercar, Fireball and Stingray on the same morning…. for a ten year old, that really was a Christmas to Remember!👏👏👏

"Vault Of Death" was my very first Thunderbirds episode, and therefore, my official introduction to the world of Gerry Anderson, back in November 1991 when I was 5-years-old. It is great to see this mini-album version of this episode.

Oh my word….the Thunderbird’s show!What amazing memories,here!Thank you for showing this episode!It’s nice at age;63,’to feel young’,again!Yeah,too,these show’s were on,on Saturday’s at;3;00 O’clock,I’m pretty sure?Derek Meddings special effect’s were;the best one ever saw as a kid!And,don’t forget,Journey to the far side of the 🌞 Sun!(from;1969),this is;a good movie,too!I like;Lady Penelope’s hairstyles,here!I wish my hair looked like that!

Just been thinking about vault of death yesterday and tried to clip the scene where lady P is driving like a madman because my friend was driving my car SOOO recklessly in GTA online 🤣

Given that in Brink of Disaster a few episodes later Lady P is driving as well as anyone could I've always thought that she drove like that on purpose to teach Parker a lesson and I doubt he'll be pulling any more of those shenanigans again.

I think it was cut too short. We didn't see Light Finger Fred capering to break in. I remember this from decades ago. I'm glad Parker and Lil in the kitchen sketch was kept in.

I have seen the original. They cut a scene out for this, where Light-Fingered Fred walks into the vault that is already broken into, and complains about it. They should have cut the part where Lady P. says he is back in prison, too.

Light fingered said that he wanted to rob the bank of England to Parker while they were inside, which is why Parker didn't want to get to the bank incase light finger was in there robbing it.
