Im 68 yrs. Old & i did the sane thing the other day. Winter coat, scarf. I was so cold. Yes. I had to have a ice cream and a coffee later. So funny.

I can tell that you’re both enjoying each other’s company. My husband is not a gardener but that magnolia is his favourite plant ever. We have 2, one at the front door and one out the back. It’s the only plant he waters 😊❤

I love these trips to the charming villages and towns along Lake Como as much as I love ❤️ the hikes up the mysterious mountain. Varenna is so picturesque. The lake is beautiful no matter what the weather is like (but I prefer sunshine for my ice cream, too). The most fun is sharing it all with precious Mama. Your new rose and magnolia should help heal some of the wounds from the garden predator. ♥️🌹

wow thankyou for reminding me of past holidays to this lovely part of lake como. From menaggio their is a lovley long walk to il rogolone a walk to a very very old oak tree.., if you go down the side of the lake towards caddenabbia on the cliff their is san martino church you can walk to it up a steep path from griante. if you walk towards village of rogero you can walk up a path to capella alpini. and of course from varennna their is castello vesio and then along from villa monestero their is il fiumi latte (wjite rivver milk)
