Another good lake district video, favourite place to go riding. One place to mention in Glenridding ,is the travellers rest pub up past the car park. Good old lakeland pub with some excellent pub grub. Was on there last year when staying at ullswater inn hotel and had some issues. Had no trouble getting fed at the travellers rest , and a great atomsphere in there.

Brave man Nick, the Lakes in the summer holidays, I haven’t been over from my base near Hexham for a while. My favourite cafe is the Garage in Keswick…I come over from Hartside, through Pooley Bridge down the side of Ullswater, through Troutbridge and then down the A66 to Keswick.

Nice video ,great quality footage, last time i did lake district on a bike was in the seventies camping in Ambleside two up on a 400/4 , still ride just got back from France ,Belgium , must get back up the lakes though !!

I was there for a week last week with the family, took my Scrambler 1200XE and did the passes, Hardknott was interesting but a great week and wonderful part of the world

Riding through Bowness during the kids holiday season...brave man! Planning a weekend away there in Sept with the bike buddies, hopefully it won't be quite as busy! Was out on my Tiger 1200 GT Pro yesterday and the gear selector has developed a nasty fault - won't change down! One for the dealer to scratch their heads over...thank heavens for warranties!

Haven't been in Brown Sugar for a while so must go again soon. The ice cream is English Lakes and probably the best in the North West. Made in Kendal, it can be bought in many delicious (and often unheard of) flavours. I buy it in litre tubs from Booths supermarkets.

If people only knew what goes into making these videos they might understand a bit more why it is so time consuming in your personal life, to have a break or cut down when you can is a must, we don’t get paid to do these, well I don’t anyway lol, I do my best to keep the videos coming, but I certainly don’t let it dictate my life, I don’t understand why people unsubscribed, they get it free and there is no impact to them, can’t please everyone, I do my videos mostly for me and a few friends over the country and overseas, if others get enjoyment out them, then I’m happy they do, gaining a large amount of subscribers and keeping them is hard so I tend to keep it as above, I’ll keep watching and subscribed….. even if it’s only a few a year bud, take care 👍🏼
