Big thanks for taking the time to film and share the ride with the gpx files, I did this on my e-bike on Friday, very much a novice but I thoroughly enjoyed this route :-)
What a cracking ride this looks, it was made by the weather though and lack of walkers I expect. Has definitely inspired me to get back out and ride more in the Lakes after lockdown has lifted. As I am sure it has for a lot of riders. I expect it will be busy in the Lakes when we can all get out to play again. Love the video and commentary, keep them coming!
Thanks rich. Yes it was a very enjoyable ride was this. I’m lucky that I have a job where i can take days off through the week. It’s at these times I visit the lakes. Wouldn’t even attempt it on a weekend. Way to busy (unless you start very early)
Another top video pal, scenery looked amazing which I’m sure makes all those hard climbs well worth it. Appreciate the videos - some of the best on RU-vid
These videos are absolutely brilliant! The fact you also take time out to share your routes is fantastic. I'll be doing this and others in the next coming weeks! Thanks for doing this!!!!
Enjoying your videos so much Andy, in fact I find myself watching them a few times or more, you have also helped me make up my mind what bike to buy, so in the next few weeks I’ll be the proud owner of an emtb, cheers mate and keep up with the awesome videos.
Trail-Finder You’re more than welcome Andy, I hope I do too mate, off work at the moment with a back injury and you’re videos are a awesome distraction, just preying it’s better for when I get my bike 😉
Andy, I meant to ask you about your frame bag, any chance you could tell me what make and model it is please, I’ve looked at the topeak website which is what it looks like but I’m damned if I can find it, appreciate any help, cheers mate 👍
Excellent Andy, enjoyed that. Love your videos, the scenery is always top notch (goes without saying) but always like your chilled style and the example you show to all mountain bikers on trail etiquette. You are always friendly, cheerful and polite (on video at least 😁) that shows those who would wish to paint us all as yobs as the polar opposite. We are all out there wanting the same thing, to enjoy being in nature. 👍
Thanks for the vid and the channel in general mate. As much as I'm looking forward to hitting up Leeds Urban this year, I'm equally inspired to tackle some of the routes you've done videos on. Theres only a few really, really good pov channels on youtube and yours is 100% in that category for me. Keep rollin' r kid 🤙🔥
Phillip Whitehead thanks Phillip. That means a lot. Yes defiantly get your self out doing some natural stuff. Bike parks are great fun. But you can’t beat a good natural one
Thank you for posting all of your riding footage and routes etc. Nice video and guiding, and appreciate the heads-up before the Wife and I head over to do the same route.
Love your videos mate. Can’t wait to get back out into The Lakes once all this shit is over but in the meantime watching your riding there keeps me going!!
Another excellent ride Andy! When you mentioned the climb I rewound it, picked the features out and enjoyed it all the more. Thank you! Keep the great work up!
You hit the jackpot there pal. Cloudless skies in the lakes in November boom! I've stayed in the pub in Elterwater, it was lovely. Wonderful scenery, great trails, you hit Mountain biking gold here Andy
Cracking ride and stunning views, that really got the memories going, you parked just down from where I grew up, Cote How. Came across your channel from stopadoodledoo and TheGibMTB, can see some binge watching coming 👍🏼 great video. Pretty sure Jason is getting me back up to lakes this weekend 😃
@@TrailFinder that was a fantastic ride, quite sketchy as well in places, faster than what I was expecting as well haha. My video will be a couple more weeks as have another edit from Llangollen I need to finish. Cannot wait to start it 👍🏼
@@TrailFinder is there a ride or two that stick out as being particularly noob friendly? Asking as I would like to try. Would love to see all your rides graded 😂
Only found your channel a few days ago. I've been binge watching your vids. Very jealous you live close to such wonderful locations.. I guess I gotta get myself a van, or make friends with somebody who has one lol
Gaz very lucky. I live in Harrogate which is right in the middle of all the national parks. Having the van Is great. As I have the option of camping in it. Which I do often. Especially when I visit the lakes.
Another great video, I needed one after watching all of your other videos in about a day 😂. I’m going to the lakes soon hopefully to do a run around grizedale and a few blacks by Windermere.
He accidentally clicked on an email from google. Turned out it wasn’t google. That’s how he was hacked. Poor lad is gutted. Hopefully he will get it back soon. Unfortunately RU-vid are been a little slow sorting it.
Hi Andy. Firstly many thanks for the directions on finding the map data, really great having it available. Just wondered if it would be possible going forward, to add a brief comment 9or something) on whether you think the route would be suitable for an ebike (distance / elevation effect on battery or hiker bike situation because of weight) PS. Love the channel. Me & the Mrs cant wait for your updates on RU-vid. We have a Motorhome & are starting to plan our weekend stays around your routes, so thanks
Jim Dyson wow Jim. That’s awesome. I’m over the moon that I inspire you to get out and enjoy these rides. Firstly you do no that I don’t own an ebike don’t you?? So have no idea how much battery someone would use on a climb! I tend to show all the boring hard bits in my videos and not just the best down hill parts. So it’s easy to see if a certain ride is suitable for you. Most of my rides are suitable for an ebike if I can do them on a normal bike. Any parts of the ride where I’m carrying or pushing my bike I always show in the final edit. So that should be a good indication to you if it’s something you could do 😁
Thanks Andy. Trust me you don’t have any boring bits in. I know you don’t own an ebike but as you get older, you can never say never. Mine keeps me riding so that’s all good. Keep up the good stuff
Awesome video again. Love watching these makes me more excited for our trip to the lakes in a couple weeks. Can’t wait for a week’s riding. What tires you running at the moment bud?
Thanks mate. Running shwalbe magic Mary on the front and Hans dampt on the rear. Over the moon with them. Been on 6 months now. And not one problem. Used to get punchers every single ride with maxxis minion dhf
russell williamson thanks mate. And here you go www.tredz.co.uk/.K-Edge-Gravity-Cap-Mount-for-Garmin-Edge-and-FR-1-4-Turn-Type-Computer_77240.htm?sku=245554&gclid=Cj0KCQiA-bjyBRCcARIsAFboWg2MdZk0ZqBx-STCAfVkJ7gD6qkj1JI3D8Xzq3W14eOcooASajRBwgUaAljmEALw_wcB
