Lake District Walks | Nab Scar, Heron Pike, Great Rigg & Stone Arthur | Wainwright's Eastern Fells 

This 9.75 mile route heads up the western ridge of the Fairfield Horseshoe, before doubling back to descend over Stone Arthur.
After dropping down into the valley bottom, the ascent back up to Alcock Tarn is something of a "sting in the tail".
Spectacular views all around on clear days.
