Lake Louise Ski Resort December 2018
Joanne and I exploring our new favourite ski hill: Lake Louise.
In this video we ski from the Ptarmigan chair lift down to the Paradise chair lift.
Ski runs: 86 East Bowl Trees onto 65 Pika.
We had skied this run before.
I’m testing my new Head KORE99 skis for the first time.

Watching this brings back horrific memories when, as Jasper's Marmot Basin, I would head straight down the Bunny run and slam side on to some unaware onlooking who is skiing in my path. Whammmo! No helmits back then either. That night, I couldn't move a muscle...so much pain. And I did the colliding. Can't image that poor woman who I ran into full blast. I mean, didn't she know there was a full out downhill race with myself and my two sisters?!?! Some people.

It was my first day out with these new skis and that guy had to run into them. He dented them. I didn’t see the dents until later when back at the car. I remember a boarder once at Big White, BC years ago who was totally out of control when she came flying out of the trees, hit me from behind, and ran me over. The collision knocked me off my feet/skis and I wiped out. She was very apologetic. I needed some time to clear my head after the collision. Joanne was angry at her. Thankfully I was wearing a helmet. I’ve been guilty of being out of control in the trees and was wishing I could get out into an open run before, but I didn’t hit anyone while doing it, thank goodness.
