Sad to hear the studio has been basically dissolved. This was definitely my favorite action roguelite of 2023 and i was hoping it'd do well enough to keep getting new content.

Hopefully the studio can pick up more funding to keep going; for all its flaws I really like this game. Its really fun to see fighting game mechanics (combos, juggling, etc) incorporated into an action roguelite Also, you can purchase debuff removals at the store, so taking a few isn't the worst thing in the world

I've been looking for news on the studio and I can't find anything. Hopefully the game gets picked up and we keep getting characters. Happy to see you like the changes and the full pivot. Reddit wasn't all that happy about and it was a bit jarring. I'm still in awe of ya man. My first time in my synergies were awful and you just slapped it without a care in the world.

So it got you too (only i did not copy my data). I gotta say a middleground between hard and normal would have been interesting because it very much feels like normal mostly just falls over against any stiff breeze (that may change once you get into entropy effects i dunno), while hardmode caves your teeth in with no mercy. But yeah if the studio has been effectively closed that's a bummer though it seems they are gonna run a skeleton crew for updates and are trying for more funding.

Ohhh boy, can't wait for the beelz reaction when he cranks up the "buff elite enemy" entropy effect. Theres a goody there that I won't spoil.

weird, I didnt have to start a new save, I just imported early access resources onto my 1.0 save which I already did 2 or 3 run on

Studio mess is wild and indicative of how you can make good on a game and things still just go utterly awry for likely largely unrelated junk. Hopefully the overcompany can positively intervene.

Thanks Beelz for getting me addicted to more rogues Btw, would love if you did an Es run eventually, so far she's been my favourite in terms of feel and play (especially with her universal for extra crests on her attacks, leads to some degenerate dash gameplay), would love to see you do a run as her.

Extremely smooth (albeit hard) run, but it definitely came with some extreme news as well - R.I.P. to the studio, but here's to hoping they aren't forced to watch their creation steadily fall apart with the new workers! Just bought the game and played for the first time last night and I loved it. Managed to do three out of 4 complete runs. Might be top then of the year for me.

If you no hit a boss you get 2 debuffs removed and a free buff.

👍 The characters have a slower start than early access but will become badass towards the end. Btw, I just read the news and was quite sad. Hopefully they will resolve the issue soon and continue with game development 😞

First run in 1.0 I chose Taokaka with a fresh file and I managed to beat Susanoo first try. Really enjoying how smooth this update is rn, I gotta try some higher level Entropy runs soon

I somehow got to transfer over my AP and analyzers onto my current save without overwriting any of my new runs. I just selected the same profile I had been using after full release.

Ngl, 75 hours in and my head is empty and the game is completed... Im not done. I got 300 more hours in me before I take a break. I could type random facts about the character or game but... More runs. More builds... more power.

I got 2228 combos with her just by using Up + Dash and Heavy Attack, she's crazy.

I'VE BEEN PLAYING ON HARD MODE THIS ENTIRE TIME‽‽‽ Ok then. I did not realize that was a thing that happened; thank you for pointing it out. (For those who don't know, the difficulty setting is in on the Other page of the menu. Some minor notes: The event room that option that gives you credits if your current kill streak is greater than 20 doesn't mean you get it after reaching that kill streak. Rather, you can only select it if your current kill streak is over 20. You can remove debufs at shops and there's a mind implant that lets you clear debuffs by resting. I don't know if you noticed it, but some potentials can have (or unlock) hidden upgrades. You'll normally see a notification bellow a potentials description if picking it will bring one on-line, but you'll have to go into your list of potentials to see which one it was and it may not be on the potential you chose. For example, when you selected triple jump, it unlocked a hidden upgrade, hence the portals every time you jumped mid air. It might be worth your time to check the tactics trees for your current tactics when picking your next room, to try and avoid locking yourself out of their double tactics. Also, it seems like selecting a double tactic for your legacy can shift which slot it takes up. For example, Ice Spikes has a double with the miasma attack that makes your miasma freeze people, but when you get it through a legacy, it takes up your attack double tactic slot, instead of the summon's slot.

You were not on hard, ist just that the entire progress system got revamped. Now you don't always have revive or more heals, you have to insert crystals that give you extra in the menu base

Not hard mode, that first boss on hard mode is easy to spot. The fire spots on the floor will be singles and spaced out across the entire floor, not doubles in only 3 spots.

what does AP mean though ? as far as i know i choose for the option to copy over everything but no, my unlocked characters were locked again.

I don`t think hard mode is so hard. As a first run sure, but look at the damage you did without any legacy. Hope the devs solve the issue with the funding! It is a great game.
