I'll cast my vote for Noel. I really hope they add Bullet or Kagura to this game.

My votes are for Kokonoe, Noel, or 11. I really like this idea of taking fighting game character, with a ton of established lore and mechanics, and just throwing them into another genera. It seems like a really fun way to explore worlds that often don't get show cased well in their original games while also bringing much deeper move sets into genres that are normally much more simplistic, since a lot of the harder design and balancing work has already been done for you.

You can get in the shop multiple times in the final stage. After you defeat the boss you get a lot of money to heal your self.

Last area seems inspired by Dead Cells to me. Similar map, laser "vines" for ascending, etc. Also, I vote for Es. I'd love to see you running around murdering things with stained glass windows.

So glad to see you finally found the fighting game roguelike. I've basically done everything there is to do in the game so far and maxed out the rating on every character so i'd love to see where you go from here. This game has a HUGE amount of build depth, especially due to the potential system and how certain characters use certain tactics/tactic trees better than others.

I like how they managed to make Hakumen feel like he does in the actual BlazBlue I honestly hope this game gets mods or even dlc Also hope Beelz gets into the hard mode content, as the bosses feel so much more interesting to fight, it honestly feels like normal bosses don’t have their full kit after fighting the hard versions

Run Hakumen again. This time, please explore the combo mechanics a bit more! I really loved all those hidden synergies with the "POTENTIALS".

Noel's cannon with the invincibility upgrade is not balanced

Hakumen was the third character I unlocked and was the one who gave me my first win. Dude hits like a freight train. All I need now is for Azrael, Bullet, Makoto, Naoto, Kagura, and Nine to get added.

Hibiki and 11! I really hope we get to see some insane combos. Headache time!!

So! As someone who’s very experienced in the game, I think that Es is an extremely good choice for someone who’s not too familiar with the game. She’s got a lot of range, her potentials range from okay to game destroying, and she works pretty well with most tactic elements.

I like how you just ignored the Exchange shop at the last stage where you can buy tactics exp and heal and only interacted with it at the start, you had like 400+ and the shop only increases prices after being purchased. Seeing you panicking due to low health while passing by portals to be able to go back to the shop was quite hilarious. Never change Beelz, never change.

So with double tactics, EACH TACTIC has a tactics tree, one for slimes, one for poison, one for blackholes etcetc. So when you get to the end of the tree, with the necessary prerequisites, you'll unlock the CHANCE to find the DualTactic when you gain a tactic.

This is highly entertaining, I would love to see this as a series! Also, out of all of them Hakumen is definitely my favorite, but I think Noel could be a close second.

You can back to the begining of the last area(dead cells like map) and heal yourself in the shop as long as you can pay.

46:31 Oddly enough, I CAN see what the boss is doing. Maybe it's his size, but when playing Skul as any kind of magic skull, my own effects always cover up the boss' movements, besides the really big guys.

I'm so glad i have yet another common Rogue-like with beelz where i can complain about him making dumb descisions. Also Kokonoe is a favorite of mine, once you get the lasers you are pretty much playing on creative mode. Edit: btw beelz in space omega the shop is unlimited, you just go back to that starting point of the map and can buy hp or tactis as long as you have money.

Just as a tip. You can press the select button on the controller when selecting potentials to check for potential Synergies with the potentials you already have. There are a lot of hidden combos and mechanics behind synergies that the game doesn't really tell you. So anytime you get a new potential its good to check if your close to a synergy. Especially for Noel, 11 , and Hibiki. They have alot of new moves behind synergies. Also if you want to see your possible Duo Tactics you can open the Tactics Tree from the tactics tab or press square when getting a new tactics. For example, your black hole has a synergy with summon tentacle and freezing wind. Ill also cast my vote for Es. or Jin.

If this game is ever released on switch, I will be buying it so fast it'll say that the game was bought before it was released

I’m so glad the Entropy Effect has finally come to Beelzville. It would be fun to see you do another Mai run down the line. Mai has Potential synergies which give her a parry/counter stance and super armor on held attacks, effectively turning her into a dashy, wishy-washy mini-Hakumen.

As a tip Beelz, once you get to that last area, you can teleport back to the start and go into the shop whenever you want. You build up money as you go through, so you can head back in and buy more healing. You ended that run with over 400 credits. Also the longer you're in there the more corruption effects you generate, so you probably don't want to dawdle.

Hibiki seems like Ninja skull, Es would be fun, I'm with the Es camp, and Jin sounds really cool

Does beelz know that different potentials combined together makes different effects?

If you need a quick explanation of inheriting Evotypes: Every run generates an Evotype score based on how far in the run you make it+how strong your character is by the end of the run. Both of your two slots require certain minimums in order to activate the slot effect. Every character has their unique Synergy ability(think of it as an assist in fighting game terminology), and two Legacy traits. When you play as a character, their Legacy traits are automatically active. Hakumen, as an example gains super armor after taking or blocking a hit, and only takes a maximum of 10% HP when hit while over 80% HP. If you inherit Hakumen on a future run for a different character, they will gain both legacy traits if his Evotype score is at least 500 if he is inherited into slot 1, and will gain both of his passives in slot 2 if his score is at least 600. The Legacy 'Talents' allow you to inherit a specific talent you picked up during a run, which allows you to tailor specific evotypes for specific builds. Have a cold synergy build on a character? You can inherit one of the cold abilities automatically once you pick up one of the prerequisite talents during a run. This system allows you to tailor your runs with the unique passives and assists of two other characters on every run, and encourages you to attempt runs with other characters to generate better Evotype scores. As for unlock, from a utility standpoint I recommend Lambda 11 for survivability, and Es for aggression. These suggestions are just for Future Evotypes though. From a gameplay perspective, Hibiki is super fun. I actually wouldn't recommend Noelle as an early unlock, as one of her passives isn't very synergistic with most of the cast. She's very fun though.

When complete phase 5, more of tactics gonna be legendary the only thing you better make it fast for better luck and play

In that last area, maybe i'm wrong, but i think you can teleport back to the shop and buy more healing. When you bought it the first time, instead of locking it like usual it just increased the price by 25 and the money you generate in that area was like 10x compared to the previous levels.

btw if get potential there are synergies between it that you can check in your character menu

Personally I would say Es or 11 , Es makes it easy for heavy reaches so you won’t be taking hit from up close

You can use the shop as many times as you want in Space Omega, so you can go back and heal after a mini boss and also get a ton of tactics. You will figure out a lot the game the more you play it and by the looks this HAS to be a new series for you.

As someone who somehow discovered blazblue at like 11 and has been a lifelong Jin main since, my vote goes to Jin. He just seems so much more fun in this than ever before I need to see his true potential. Also I he has cool ass lore.

I didn't see it written or I'm just blind, but in the last zone you gain exchange points while killing the mobs and bosses, so you can return to the beginning part and spend them there again (prices increase with each purchase there). Other than that I've been having a blast with this game, and from the little teaser in the release vid I guess we getting crazy cat Taokaka hype. Es is my personal favourite, though Hakumen is my first win

I don't care about whether he'd be complicated or not, I want Susano'o to be in this game and playable. And I hope they introduce something to let you pick music, if only so I can have MUST DIE play constantly.

its better to try 11 next for sure. Just one advice with 11...try to get every "sword summoner" synergy. If u can manage to gather them and get "sword summoner complete" it's basically game over for every boss). Also worth to remember is that her basic attacks works differently, u HOLD attack to shoot swords, and then tap attack for last hit.

My vote is for Es. The crest builds get out of control, but the down jump attack is my favorite potential and you can spam it on bosses for massive damage.

Noel and hakuman is my favorite in this game.

Hakumen is definitely my favorite character in this game. He's the only one i can consistently beat the game with. You're right, you have to counter everything cause of how slow his dash is. That's fine tho cause you can basically counter every attack in the game except grabs. It also does more damage when you counter the attack rather than just doing the attack straight away.

I vote Noel. But.. Key point in Omega zone teles are to go back to shop.

I'd like to see kokonoe, she's super fun yet is quite challenging to play in a game like this. You should also check your skill menu more to see the synergies your potentials can have, I've missed some stuff just because I didn't check out the synergies more

I've enjoyed this game greatly and think I've done most of the implemented story so far... My best characters are Hakuman and Ragna

I got this game myself and it's been a lot of fun. Hakumen is one I haven't tried yet. But he looks fun. One thing that's gonna have to become habit if you play this more, as you get synergies, you'll have to look at them in their menu in order to find out the bonuses they give you. Also, I have no clue why your buttons are so different than mine? My default has Circle as my Dash/Dodge and R1 as my Summon skill, it's weird that your controls are different if they're default...
