Hi Rick, great videos. felt i needed to comment , i build race motorcycle engines, and have been doing so for over thirty years. i would STRONGLY advise you to be very careful when using any type of media blasting to clean engine parts in a rebuild. i've had a couple of disasters with engines that customers got professionally cleaned with bead and sand blasting, after asking them not to, them insisting they were cleaned properly, and then running and dragging media from some orifices and causing lots of damage. i.e. rc30 crankmains and big end shells and pistons damaged. i know your vixen parts washer works well, i've used them myself for twenty years, but you still can't guarantee total cleanliness. would your new vapour blaster be effective without media. it makes me cringe to think of the damage possibly caused to a very valuable lambo or r8 engine. trust me, you think something is clean but theres always some blind holes in oil feed passages etc that you cant get to that catch you out. good luck !

25% tire slip should be the target @ launch. watch a top fuel race with the stripe ( tire spin ) on the tire 25% slip is max traction.

My Israeli colleague was telling me they get taxed around 100% VAT on cars hence why it's not so common to see newer or luxury cars there. Then add 100%+ import duty too - that explains the million pound McLarens 😅

Buying used supercar parts is sketchy at best most of the stuff I've seen is worn-out trashed junk people are trying to make some money back on after getting raped by the supercar manufacturer parts houses

So I sell Corvettes here in the US. That is a 1LT (Trim) Z51 Performance Package car. The 1LTs are junk. They don’t come with HUD, Heated seats, Ventilated seats or Heated Steering Wheel. I do suggest driving one and getting a real feel for it. It’s no Audi R8 or baby Ferrari, it is brawny American Muscle. However the C8 has some European influence. The car can take corners and handles really well for how inexpensive they are.

I would love to know what Knock is Well done Rikki your the tops how do you find owt in the shop of yours needs 5s badly. Them clutch baskets have a lot of machining time to produce one on CNC TURN/MILL if made from solid I would love to know machining time on them?? must be well expensive. I'm an ex CNC machinist and they look the mutts nuts. Oh and you need a week on a Beach with the Bride and chill for a bit.

I would like to see the RS 4 engine build tech video.

Corvette c8 can be ragged on all year long and keep running without issue. On a track it will run right with a base McLaren. All for far less than half the price. Ya, totally rubbish.
