Very nice seeing this little piece of tractor history being nicley cared for! A little bit about the history of Lamborghini Trattori: In 1973 Lamborghini Trattori was sold to another Italian tractor company called Same. Later in 1995 Same was bought up and merged with German Tractor manufacturer Deutz-Fahr to form SDF wich still exists today an sells Tractors under the Deutz Fahr, Same, Laborghini and Hürlimann brands.
The "Llamborghini r235" its the same here in europe as the "Same Delfino 35" and I think that the "Llamborghini r230" is the same model as the "Same Italia 35". I don´ t know if in the USA could find parts from "Same" tractors, but is basically the same model rebaged. I hope I can help.
I'm here because Hoovie sent me. I'm a city boy and I don't know much about tractors but there's really cool about them. I'd love to see a mechanical restoration but leave the patina!
In my opinion, "patina" only belongs on bronze statues, paintings by "The Masters" and certain other things usually found in museums. As I said, that's just my opinion and to each their own. However, when my family, friends and I restore any vehicle (including tractors), we take them back as close as possible to 100% and sometimes past that point. Then, we work/use them down to 20-30% and start the process again.
I know nothing about parts availability in the states but i do know that Agco and White tractors were/are rebranded SLH tractors(Same, Lamborghini, Hurlimann and Deutz tractors are essentially the same and are part ofthe same company) so perhaps your Agco or White dealer can help.

This thing is an absolute monster. I’d love to see it fully restored! You’ve got a lot of custom fabrication ahead of you since parts are completely unobtainable in the United States.
I wouldn't be surprised if they're going to have to look over in Europe to get parts. Probably something he's not used to dealing with. Car Wizard however definitely deals with getting parts from Europe from time to time. Mainly due to some of the cars he works on. Though it's one thing to look for European car parts. It's another thing to look for European tractor parts. I can see it taking the both of them to figure out how and where to find parts for this.

Came over from Hoovie a channel. I’m a tractor guy too, but on the other side of the world. We got a lot of European tractors here, but very few Lamborghini though.
You can tell she still has a heart. Believe this or not, some machines have "personalities". I am an old farmer from southern Minnesota, some machines have personalities. Just ask you grampa.
enjoyable video as always crazy D, lamborghini sold his tractor division in either 1972 or 1973 to a company called S.A.M.E (Società Accomandita Motori Endotermici) which later after buying the Deutz Fahr tractor company changed their name to the SDF group for SAME Deutz Fahr which they are still known as today :)
Hi, the Lamborghini tractors aren't part of the Fiat/New Holland group. They are SDF (Same Deutz Fahr, with Same being Italian too, Deutz German). Where they sell tractors with Deutz engines, designed by same, but I think they're designed as a Deutz (you always see the church of the Deutz emblem in the hood. They're badge engineered and sold as Deutz, Same, Hürlimann, Lamborghini etc to cater to different markets. As for the starting: She definitely is tired. But as far as I could read up she's direction injection too? So she shouldn't need glow plugs, but often they still help. Another thing that could help: with these Bosch injection pumps you often can pull the stop lever out in two steps /stops. And halfway out is the starting position. It changes when the fuel is injected and how much. Maybe check if the pump has that.
I can't imagine a more perfect vehicle to bring together your three channels. I'm happy for all of you guys! I never knew diesel to degrade from storage since it is an oil? As long as it isn't allowed to be contaminated. That's the reason the military relies on it. There was even a diesel Kawasaki motorcycle developed for the U.S. military during Desert Storm
From Hoovies, I certainly hope he fixes it, and knowing him and the way he works he'll have you fix it up. It is a cool little tractor and should be useful around his new farm and everyone gets content from it. Going to be fun to follow and you get a bunch of new subs from folks that have never thought about tractors. The closest I've gotten is my first two vehicles were a 42 Ford GPW Jeep and a 41 1/2 ton military Dodge closed cab pickup with a winch.
Several years ago I had the opportunity to buy 2 small Ferrari orchard tractors at auction. I still regret not buying them. A guy nearby has a Porsche tractor in his collection.
Throw some transmission fluid in the tank. The tractor probably has not gotten up to temp in a while. It starts fairly easy, yeah it smokes but that’s normal. Turn up the pump on it a tad, put some fresh fuel in it, & the engine is probably fine. As long as there’s no excessive crankcase blow-by the engine is fine. Grey smoke is normal for old fuel. The oil is probably from the valve cover leaking. These old diesels don’t get very hot at all, not hot enough to burn off of the cylinder head. Daily driven a mechanical Diesel for 3yrs. New Diesel is junk, I have to add stabilizer to the new fuel to keep my engine from running like trash/it’ll get dirty every so often. Engines need to sit at full rpm, & just run to clean themselves out. Every so often I’ll have to redline my 7.3 to keep it running good w some cleaner. It’ll get dirty, so she likes the redline.

the injectors and the injector pump needs 2 be rebuilt and the engine diesel tractors when piston rings are no good they don't have much compression and makes them hard 2 start like that 😮😮 I don't remember seeing many in the USA 🇺🇸 maybe in the 1970s not now anything can be fixed try a parts locator that carry them I would check here in the USA 🇺🇸 1ST U might have get those tractor 🚜 from overseas since they were made there 😊😊 11 2O 2O23
Im from Hoovie too. You scored well here Crazy D….my guess is that there will be a decent amount of spares available from breakers yard - in Italy and maybe Germany and even ex Yugoslavia !!! so your gonna have some good search time but will get all the bits eventually. I hope Hoovie goes for it - he’s the right sort of nutcase for the job and the connection with Clarkson will appeal too…… im from Ireland
European here, Lambo tractors are made by "Same Deutz-Fahr" and painted Silver these Days. That Company also owns the Swiss Tractor Company "Hürlimann" wich are painted in a special green&red. The Lambo car section is owned by VAG (volkswagen audi group) these Days
I was pretty psyched when I saw this on Hoovie's thumbnail. I hadn't seen one since the Hebron Harvest Fair back in the late 80s. Rare old bird. I'd love to see him score a Porsche tractor, too.
More my kinda tractor, lambo is owned by same deutz fahr group, and a new lambo is really a deutz with differnt paint job. I have restored a couple SAME from the 60s, these old tractors are a lot of fun
Sick injector.... I'm born an breed in nz. I've gota mint kubota l240 2wd z1300 engine, think it's a 74. I called kubota nz looking for a water pump...they told me an l240 didn't exist! Called a black market tractor.

I believe Tyler said somebody contacted him and offered it to him, for $3500. They had purchased it, got it running and basically just flipped it to Tyler.
