Gaz brought his RB252 with 62/118 crank and AF tornado exhaust for a dyno at Scooterotica a couple of weeks ago, it's now back for a direct comparison to the DT version of the JL RB Race pipe.

Love these comparison videos I’ve got a tuned RB 22 went from a NK road/rally to a tornado it pulled another 4hp out of it to 37 Hp at 9000 only downside very easy to stall and exaggerated the gap between 2-3 on the Indian Gp box but it did turn it in to a genuine 90 mph machine so I live with it 😁.

Would be nice to do a ride report as it might show a greater difference in real world conditions. Also a timer function as fitted to some dynos works as a great comparison. Great work keep it up. 👍

Great review of exhausts and a great day out and the ride home was lovely just pulls in any gear sit at 50 mph in 5th open it up and away it goes just makes you smile 😃

Any chance of seeing both graphs overlaid? A touring option pipe would also make a nice comparison, CST4 or a decent clubman, not everyone want to do 90 mph.

Graphs are overlaid at 3m 06s… pay attention at the back of the class! We just offered this example as it’s a change that a Dyno customer was making. We don’t carry stock so couldn’t make any further comparisons. Happy to trial any pipes you are supplying for this good cause… 🤓👍

Got them as close as I could within reason, and also matched air temp correction factors. Actually, on the day, the DT-JL did even better than these graphs show, but I matched all the parameters in the interests of presenting a true comparison.

Hi I’ve got an rt 230 reed valve with tsr evo pipe and Af 5 speed 46/17 gearing. It’s been on a couple of Dyno’s and can’t get rid of stuttering at low speeds I’ve heard this is a common rt trate have you ever come across this? Cheers Gary

I have not heard of this in relation to the RT kit. Which Dyno’s did you go on?
