Lamley Awards Results Show Part 2: BEST & WORST Hot Wheels Super Treasure Hunts & Matchbox! 

I've been disappointed by the entire Matchbox Moving Parts line since the beginning. Every one of the is too plasticky and cheap. I'd rather pay a little more to get something like Hot Wheels Premium/Car Culture that is all metal.

I was lucky and found the Gulf Porsche STH in grocery store. I like it. I agree with the pick for the best basic Matchbox, the Plymouth Savoy as a personal pick. It looks great in black. It also comes the era I was born into. I was very young but my first interest in cars came from this era.

No front or back tampos on a $TH is weak in my opinion, doesn't matter the casting but yet people always seem to follow the latest fad.

I actually liked the Mazda X3. I do like Pearl White cars, but mostly it was a hard super to find and made it harder for pirates to just open up cases and take the supers. I wonder how many they missed out on? I found it on the pegs and for being someone who doesn't melt over JDMs I was ecstatic to find it. I also found the Porsche gulf hanging. Great pick. I'm kinda glad it beat out the JDM craze.

YESSS! As an owner of an '89 Supercharged MR2( in white BTW) I'm feeling kinda proud!!! Great casting! I've got both versions and now I'm looking for the 2 right hand drive versions.

Agree with R8. It's very over looked. Well proptioned, great colour, full deco, awesome wheels. Glad Ive got one.

i personally like the fj cruiser i think the problem with the casting is it's wide like unrealisticly wide and the wheels are kind of small

Why doesn't the MR2 have body colored headlight covers (especially on the closed light version)??? This is the fatal flaw for me. Btw, that Savoy is really fast. I track raced it against other MB and HW and the only thing faster was the HW Kia Stinger.

I agree about the Audi R8 STH. It looks way better than the 510 and the Porsche outlaw( paint notwithstanding) put together, mostly because they actually painted the front and rear lights and logos. I think that should be the very FIRST criterion of a higher end casting/ version. The attention to detail, and then the fancy paint and real riders. Btw, those models in the background are amazing . Particularly the gulf cars and what looks like a Lamborghini Miura in yellow on the floor. Any chance you could do a video about the cars on display there?

I love the k&n corvette STH and the Gold Mustang Shelby STH both are really clean looking

I didn’t even know those 4 Matchbox Moving Parts cars even existed. Haven’t seen any on the pegs here in Australia

I agree with you John on the Matchbox that Monte Carlo Is my #1. I wish I had found more then just one definitely hard to find moving parts lately. I also agree on Audi STH I kept telling my friends it was my favorite nobody agrees with me lol.

With the MB basics, I voted against the Bentley SUV, although it is a great model, it just doesn't remind me of a Bentley, it caught me of guard.

Oh boy I enjoyed this one than the 2020 one, so many cool MBX and STHs this year...

Man they did the FJ dirty… should have been the M4 with the weird white interior, weird boxy rear proportions (the lights are flat instead of going around) & a real M4 is a coupe!

My Brat did not win but I'm a winner because I got a new casting to collect! Onto the white version in 2022 :D

Has anyone cracked open the Bentley to see if there is an interior? I opened up 2020 land rover defender 90 and discovered it has one. It is a shame you can not see it. Maybe in a premium version? Time will tell.

ha, MR2 was a disappointment, they need to sort that wing mirror out, and the windscreen needs to project forward to fill the space, it's too flat.

I voted for the fj cruiser for most disappointing because as I like the casting itself, the wheel choice is so terrible I would always pass on it. And I'm a toyota fanboy

I have the Mazda RX3 STH I hate it. It looks like a basic. There’s no new detail, the wheels are like the exact same and the paint looks the same
