To the people complaining about people screaming or singing, stop. They paid to see Lana and they're enjoying the moment, if you don't want any disruptions, listen to the studio version.
I can't believe it's the same woman that was accused of singing terribly live a couple of years ago. Her voice sounds so very good in her latest perfomances! so proud of her progress. Can't wait to hear her live if I get the chance
PoMaH...... I'm with you . Well said I like that. I know whoever uploaded this video is kidding. Sounds like a woeful phone recording picking up on her mic. & the bands music is inaudible. Sterile studio albums blow. Give me live stuff to indulge in anywhere. Any time....
OMG her voice improved so much, it's like, better than the studio version. Maybe because now she's less scared. Also, congratulations outstanding video quality!
I am 40 and grew up with Madonna, Debbie Gibson, Tiffany, and later Tracy Chapman and Sarah Mclachlan. And I look back past them to Pat Benetar era.Lana is easily the best female singer/songwriter combination I have ever witnessed. And now she has stepped up the live performer game too. No equal.
Georgette he’s literally unnecessarily comparing two powerful woman for no reason at all. Just say you’re a misogynist and go. You don’t need to bring down a woman down to bring up another.
murderize he’s not comparing them personally, he’s just saying which artist’s work he likes best. Everybody has different opinions & taste nd I don’t see how just because both of them are women his comment is misogynistic lol
Yes, she can sing. And she knows it, but she still try to fuck her own songs when it's live. In this performance you can see that she is so relax so I believe that's why her voice is flawless.
They say I'm too young to love you I don't know what I need They think I don't understand The freedom land of the seventies I think I'm too cool to know ya You say I'm like the ice I freeze I'm churning out novels like Beat poetry on Amphetamines I say I say Well, my boyfriend's in the band He plays guitar while I sing Lou Reed I've got feathers in my hair I get down to Beat poetry And my jazz collection's rare I can play most anything I'm a Brooklyn baby I'm a Brooklyn baby They say I'm too young to love you You say I'm too dumb to see They judge me like a picture book By the colors, like they forgot to read I think we're like fire and water I think we're like the wind and sea You're burning up, I'm cooling down You're up, I'm down You're blind, I see But I'm free Ooh, I'm free Well, my boyfriend's in the band He plays guitar while I sing Lou Reed I've got feathers in my hair I get down to Beat poetry And my jazz collection's rare I can play most anything I'm a Brooklyn baby I'm a Brooklyn baby I’m talking about my generation Talking about that newer nation And if you don't like it You can beat it Beat it, baby You never liked the way I said it If you don't get it, then forget it So I don't have to fucking explain it And my boyfriend’s in the band He plays guitar while I sing Lou Reed I've got feathers in my hair I get high on hydroponic weed And my jazz collection’s rare I get down to beat poetry I'm a Brooklyn baby I'm a Brooklyn baby Yeah my boyfriend's pretty cool But he's not as cool as me 'Cause I'm a Brooklyn baby I'm a Brooklyn baby
This is the best live, brooklyn baby version I've ever heard. I often listen to this version rather than the actual song. I even added it to my playlist for the album. Good song, and great job filming!
I would die happily if I ever got to see her perform this ethereal song live. I don't know how many times I've listened to it since discovering it! 🥺💕💕💕
