Lana undergoes the experiment so that Superman's mother can take over her body 

When he called her Lana, she got a quizzical look on her face: "who said my name that way before?"

Lana was prepared and willing to die to protect her family/ that’s bravery having her mind possessed by a alien when there’s no guarantee she will even survive.

The soldiers stand in respect because Lana, though a civilian, is volunteering to possibly sacrifice herself just as they have sworn to do if needed.

This show is on a whole other level with the violins playing during their important scenes. Extremely dramatic very atmospheric

Yea, did Lana just figure out that Superman is her old high school boyfriend? How long before it clicks for her?
