@ValiSide same here dude, i live in Colorado and everyone and their moms has a subaru. STis are everywhere. i wanted one for the longest time, but i ended up getting a white 2005 evo 8 and i am super glad i got it and not an STi. and not to mention, i raced my friends 07 STi with intake and exhaust and it was neck and neck until 3rd gear, i started pullin on him like crazy. and my evo is prettymuch stock haha
@Blougheed The rivalry is there because they are both very similar cars in almost every aspect. I wouldn't mind owning an STI either, i love and respect both cars
STi is a fun car i drive one but its time to trade it in for EVO 9 while the used cars are cheap, STi good dirt car, but EVO seems to benefit more than sti with parts and def al around good track and street car
@VinceCarter83138 yeah haha he cant do anything else to his car cuz he "doesn't wanna void warranty" or some lameass excuse like that haha but my car as of now is sitting with a full 3 inch exhaust, synapse DV, hks280 intake and exhaust cams, a couple other little things and i am tuned at 26psi, i have coilovers comming in the mail along with the new valve cover... i raced my buddy last night and absoluteely murdred him haha i raced a badass c5 vett tho that put up a damn close race.
@evobeatr I COMPLETELY Disagree. I am a STI owner. and in our subaru meets there are plenty of sti owners.. not one of us have an once of asshole in us. Ive met a number of evo drivers who are assholes and think thier evo's are better. personally ive out preformed evo 8's and 9's on the track and auto x.. but id never run my mouth about them.. the evo is an incredible car. just as the STI is aswell. they are both revolutionary street legal rally cars...I dont get the rivalry. I would own a evo
@evobeatr: lol......such ignorance. majority of EVO owners are just as bad as the majority of STI owners. both groups (the majority of both cars' owners) think their cars are God's gift the car industry.
