It’s that time of year again, where Land Rover Series II club members from around the north west and some of LSL’s customers, gather at Jim Gardners Leaf Sprung Landys on the Fylde coast to kick tyres and talk all things Classic Land Rover. Ha ha , yes I love them that much ! I was at a toy fair today looking for vintage Land Rover models ;) it’s also getting time for me to get the full size Landy out the garage for a good run

Hi Andy, very cool Landie club, so many great series on show. I don’t know if I mentioned, when I was a lot younger, my friend had a series 3 petrol, that we went cruising around looking for rough terrain, fords and rivers etc….to cross, such a special memory for me. I’m hoping to one day source a model LandRover to scale my memory. 😊😊😊best wishes 😊😊

We have a L322 but appreciate the heritage of the brand and everything was developed as a result of the original landy

Very true , although i think the modern day Land Rover brand has strayed very far away now from its roots. Cheers for watching

Very enjoyable wander around! This was a great gathering. I recently bought a 1966 S2A 88”, that was still a daily worker on a cattle ranch near Fresno, Ca. It made the 85 mile drive home just fine. They are not common here in the U.S. and quite rare here in California. I feel very fortunate to have found my “ Diamond in the rough” , as it is essentially rust free and mostly original. Thanks for posting this. 👌👍
