Absolutely current mclaren as a team in my eyes are the best ever like since formula 1 started. They have a skunk works attitude there so open to each other and the chemistry is amazing they all respect each other and elevate one another, empowering every one from jack men to drivers they are all equally empowered and supported and they all love working together because of it. Watch mclaren unboxed to get a sense of what i mean when i say theyre like 1 big family. No stupid corporate attitude what i love the most is how laid back zack brown is. He doesnt hover over and stress anyone he trusts that everyone can do their job and empowers them to do it in theyre own creative way instead of telling people how to do things. Doesnt even interfere with pit wall. Thats a strategist, he does it for a living, ill let him do it without bother and trust that hell make the right calls. The drivers in turn also have the best chemistry on the grid. Sending lando out was nothing but a logical idea from the strategist as theyre on different strats. The drivers arent selfish they trust that theyre team and theyre strategists know what they're doing and so there must be good reason to ask to swap places they dont even need to think of greed because of the whole mindset of the team. They work like clockwork. You can almost hear zack shouting at the tv "GO ON KID!" as sainz sent him off to get em XD

@chuck aule Sainz must be wondering if it's too late to change his mind about joining Ferrari.

chuck aule I mean it’s obvious but you had 2 other teams(Renault and racing point) who’s drivers fought and cost each other time so Sainz and the overall team dynamic at McLaren should be praised. Lando leading in the championship has no relevance to whether he should have been let through as its only the 2nd race. It was just the scenario where Lando was coming up in fresher tires and sainz was struggling with his.

Lando did the same for Carlos in Brazil last year. They really get along, it's a shame they won't be teammates in 2021.
