SIAC checking in💯 but both lines were good. If you just listen to what is played seems like Lane was more technical and groovy. However, Valley played technical stuff rather than groovy yet, they brought there own style groove if you understand what I mean. Example valley tenors played a lot of rudiments instead the standard tenor part where they play on the “ands” “e’s” and “uh’s” of a groove. Overall great display of HBCU percussion.💯

Both drumline did good🤟🏼 this was better then the JSU battle🤷🏽‍♂️

I said that I wanted to see BR strap up against WT and it happened. I said that A&T needed to battle WT and it happened. Guys...I've been saying it for years. Valley's section is under rated. One year they're going to catch half of the SWAC taking them for a joke and send them home packing.

Great battle. Really enjoyed it. Both sides were chopping. I will say just because Lane College stayed and played cadences doesn't mean Valley lost. They had more to play trust me they did. I see that this is a trend with Lane. They have not just won every battle in the SWAC. They would have been there all night battling. Someone had to go.

I love the Band Director at Lane. He wants that smoke and Bloody Rain ain't scared for the challenge. But IMHO War and Thunder gave them a hot L in 2017. Nothing is wrong with that cause WT is about that action too so I think it Humbled BR for the moment. Now BR is battling is out there battling anybody. I wonder which SWAC school will show up at 2019 Whitehaven BOTD. It will probably be Alcorn. If so they better be ready for that smoke cause BR will bring it. Also one last thing. I actually think Bloody Rain got Soul Section that night. But I'm not going to act like Valley's tenors shitted on Lane tenors at the end. Valleys tenors got some heat.
