Lang Lang, as the spokesperson for VIP Peilian, You can't do anything for profit. Take the VIP's advertising endorsement fee, and work with the VIP sparring business organization to defraud the parents of their money. Defrauded millions of parents and ran away with billions of dollars. However, Lang Lang deleted everyone's messages with no conscience, and did not stand up to speak for everyone.please STAND OUT for teachers and kids! So many people buy this program because of you!!

It's incredible how it takes someone others consider a master to reintroduce them to what they all probably loved as children, and which the cynicism of adulthood made them forget or disparage. Thank you for this, and best wishes to Lang Lang - since I imagine he doesn't actually touch this YT channel - on his upcoming "Piano Book."

Yes, I agree with your approach. It is one of his most popular pieces even though it is a simple piece which, by the way, was published many years after his death. It is definitely a pearl. It's a very good example of what you can accomplish with just a few notes. Yes, a master piece doesn't necesarily have to be extremely complex and virtuosic to be a master piece. These videos would be even more interesting if you interpret the whole pieces at the end. Thanks for sharing Lang! You look great in white.

What a foolish and unfair comment. He was never an "arrogant showmen"! He used to take an unconventional perspective on well-known works. That created a lot of resistance. Not all of his approaches were appreciated. I'd even say that not all were nice. But that's what artists do: they challenge our view of things. But it's very unfair to say "arrogant showman."

Keep strong. Dont forget that despite the evil in this world, God is full of justice, mercy and love. Justice said we broke His perfect law - causing the world's previous perfection to be destroyed - and therefore we deserve Hell (like a punishment in any legal system but this is eternal as His perfect law is eternal too). Don't think you fit in that category? Ever done one of these?: lying, stealing - regardless of how small the object EVER, hating others - which is murder in God's perfect law, lusting (plus God sees our entire thought life). Justice says "the soul that sins shall die" - if we break one in thought/word/deed it's as if we're guilty of all of them. Quite simply, living by the law (which is doing everything perfectly) is impossible for sinful humans . The law shows us that 1. We will die in Hell if we fail to follow it and 2. We cannot save ourselves BUT, 3. God's perfect, immovable law points us to Christ, who followed and fulfilled the law in thought, word and deed perfectly in our place. He did what we couldn't and did it on our behalf. He was then sentenced to death on a cross, and took our personal punishment for our sin, paying our penalty (like paying our fine) completely FOR us, and has given us freedom. If we turn from the sins we have committed and repent (pursue the opposite direction of love through Christ) He will, overtime, recreate us into His image through The Holy Spirit which Jesus sends to all who accept Him as their personal Lord and Savior of their life. We cannot purify ourselves, but Christ lived that perfect sinless, pure life and then allotted it to our "account". That's where our righteousness comes from. Not from any good, works that you or I could do. It is not based on the amount of good works we do. God starts the changes, He carries it on, and He completes it in those who let Him. It's about letting Christ in to guide and teach you and obeying Him, again, through His power and instruction). He is our substitute in His life, death and resurrection. He essentially rewrote history in our place so that, if you believe in Him, it will be as if YOU had never sinned if you accept Christ's death as our own in our place. He is in Heaven right now preparing a place for us so that He can take His faithful, believing children home with Him when He returns. He will ressurrect us from death when He returns, giving mercy to those who accept His love, forgiveness, instruction and teachings in their life, and give justice to those who refuse it. He doesn't want ANY of us to go to Hell and die for continuing in evil and rejecting His way to life, thats why He died FOR us. Hes giving EVERYONE a chance, He wants everyone to take the free gift of salvation from Hell. He wants us to be His and begin to follow His life of love and service through His power and abiding (staying) with Him. So long as we keep our hearts near to Christ through His strength, strive to follow His will of perfect love revealed in the Bible, and let Him lead in the midst of (very certain) pitfalls and struggles, we will, in time, win the ultimate victory over sin, pain and DEATH through Christ. Even if you are willing to be made willing, pray for Jesus to come in and He will do what we can't. Give us The Holy Spirit who will guide us in the right way. NOTE: You are NEVER too sinful or messed up that God cannot turn your life around through Jesus. EVER If you have any questions let me know. Xx

Playing with emotion does not mean an overuse of rubato. Beethoven used a metronome and put in the score if he wanted you to slow down or speed up.
@ulengrau6357
@ulengrau6357 5 лет назад
Beethoven's tempi are actually a mess, especially later on when he went through his "heroic/amor fati years" and created music with tempi that are still unplayable these days if you want to create an atmosphere and not just show off. Liszt and Chopin are also known for the same thing. Ever heard anyone actually play Beethoven's 5th "a tempo?" No, because it would not be worth performing then, except as a circus act.
@afriendlymusician3829
@afriendlymusician3829 5 лет назад
@@ulengrau6357 You make a good point, but the tempo should not really speed up or slow down within the tempo that is selected to perform unless Beethoven marked Rit. Or Accel.
@ulengrau6357
@ulengrau6357 5 лет назад
@@afriendlymusician3829 It's just so complicated with a piece of music like Fur Elise which wasn't even published in Beethoven's time, and for which (I could be wrong) we don't have an original manuscript but only a first edition copy that, as far as tempo, only calls for a "poco moto" at the beginning and that's it. Honestly, when it comes to piano music and tempo markings, most compositions aren't reliable until about the 1820-30s, with the advent of the Chopin Etudes. And even then, Rubinstein became famous for "suggesting," by example, extremely fluid rubatos for a lot of music, even his Schumann concerto has moments of it. Which makes one wonder... Are music manuscripts a cardinal rule? Or are they simply an expression in an agreed upon language, and like a language, can their meaning not change with time? I dislike when someone careens through the Moonlight sonata's first moment as much as any other serious pianist, but equally, I cannot deal with someone who doesn't know when to MOVE and to stop sounding like a frickin' metronome in such beautiful passages... but then goes on to hack away at the 3rd movement in all sorts of tempi, when that one should definitely be more measured. In either case, I guess it's a matter of preference. For better or worse, music needs to be of its time to stay alive, otherwise it dies. A similar case can be made for Beethoven with: Why are you playing this on a modern piano? Don't you know Beethoven wrote it for a different instrument?? Huh??? It ruins it to play it on such a metallic, percussive instrument. So IMPERSONAL!!
@afriendlymusician3829
@afriendlymusician3829 5 лет назад
@@ulengrau6357 You make another good point. The musician can intepret a piece how they like, but shouldn't over do it. As for Beethoven, he wrote using the modern piano at around the start of the 1800s or 1810s.
