What a great painter you are and I live your " can do approach" so thanking you so much for sharing with us. Love Mary Ann from the bush in Queensland. Love to see you painting gum trees kangaroos etc.
Just wowed!! Thank you Richard for sharing the process with us. Seems easy enough, clean knife strokes, clear explanation of color use... but only in apparence as your work is the definition of "the whole is more than the sum of its parts" . It is amazing what you did! ❤️😍❤️😍
Another beauty! It’s amazing to me how quickly you paint these landscapes. When you do the closeups, you can really see all the beautiful colors, and when you pull back, it’s so cohesive. Your paintings are just wonderful!
I am in awe of the amazing complexity of the finished piece yet simplicity of the journey. All in less than an hour! I guess some of the finishing touches took a bit longer but still. Awesome stuff. Thank you.
👋Hello Richard, thank you for presenting us with another wonderful painting. You said it all, and I loved your explanations which you gave us as the icing on the cake at the end of the video, so to speak. The colors are just stunning, the turquoise looks wonderful next to the cadmium hues. I also think the cliffs are excellently drawn. The view from above shows their full beauty as well as you have excellently captured the energetic tidal movement of the sea. Brilliant Richard! I wish you all the best until next time.👍💖
The broad strokes in the foreground contrasting with the brushwork of the water really sells the scale and made this piece feel expansive.. what a beauty!
Amazing video. Great editing and cutaways to the landscape that shows what you're working on. The colors🤩, the details😃. So much to write about.. Thankfully you explained most of these in the last 3 mins. Outstanding work!! So much paint. Definitely will save this to revisit many times. Thank you very much 😊
wow - only 15 mins in but learned so much already. I love the energy, information, looseness yet always referring to your reference and stepping back. Looking forward to the rest of it.
Can you imagine this sea scape done by Richard on a bare wall in my home?. Oh, that is epic! What a painting! . That's bravery to tackle a extra large canvas as that. Just wonderful! Colors are so true and waves .. well great!!
Very talented and well explained I think. I’d be pretty happy if I could produce some artwork like that. You’ve inspired me to get back into it and perhaps some tutoring / lessons, so I’m at least fumbling in a slightly educated way, lol Thanks so much for being on RU-vid
Hello Richard, what a marvel! I am blown away by the beauty you have rendered of this equally stunning seascape. It seems so easy to do by watching you work, indicating your great mastery. Bravo, you are a great painter and I am honored to know you. I hope that your work is recognized at its fair value in your country because you fully deserve it. See you soon, be well.
I so admire the way you paint, so much energy as well as vision and talent. Your paintings are vibrant. I am learning, from you, to use colour and be unapologetic about it. Thank you so much for showing me how you paint. From Canada.
Your paintings are always awesome 🤩 beautiful and you make it look so easy ! And the beautiful scenery’s are awesome! Thank you so much for sharing 👍🤩🥰😊😍❤️
Forgot to add, found it really helpful with your comentary at the end as you reviewed the painting and explained the techniques and colours. Thanks again Bill
Your landscape pieces never fail to impress me. I watched the whole video and it kept prettier and prettier after each step! The result is truly mind blowing.
IHi Richard, I can see by the colour in your face, maybe suntanned lol.. that this is the true excitement of you getting into a new canvas and just pure pleasure. So glad for you that you had such a lovely day. Great to see you shine in only the way you can. ❤️
G'day mate, I'm speechless almost. I'm a fan of your cliff technique and this one is exceptional. Love the appearance of detail and tone and that receding cliff line in the background is key here I think. It's hard to make an expanse of ocean interesting, especially when it takes up a large part of the painting. Once again, nailed it. What more can I say. Cheers, Rich
Wonderful! Wow! I love this one! They way you captured the coastal haze against the cliffs, the sky and the water is really spot on! I believe you hit this one right outta the park! One of my all time favorites!
You put more energy into your paintings both physically, and theoretically lol. You def give fresh take on the phrase "getting stuck into it!" Your passion always shows at the end, breathtaking vision of the aussie coast!
The depth in this painting is pure beauty. I keep learning so much about use of tonal values. Then there are the colors of your ocean water. Wow! The actual painting with the soft brush stokes on the water must really make that water pop (photo may not do that justice). Enjoyed this. Cheers to you.
Oh yeah! My favorite subject. The Ocean! This is simply marvelous darlin. You had me at seascape. 😎 Really loved how you zoomed in and explained each area of the painting during the last moments of the video before playing music. Another one for the books for RME masterpieces! Stunning painting! 5 STAR ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Lol, if I’m ever in Australia, would love to go on location with you and watch you paint. I’ll cook some Texas USA food while you paint Aussie style! Just wishful thinking, but yeah, Australia is on my bucket list. Keep on keeping on with those paintings!
"Not too bad?!" OMG! This is absolutely brilliant! Brilliant masterpiece! You're a genius, sir! Really beautiful. My favourite subject. I love it so much. So amazing colours. Btw. The views are stunning! Greetings from the EU!
Such a gorgeous country you live in! You have glorious subject matter to paint for many years to come, for sure. Do you paint full time? I have a couple of palette knife only paintings done now and am really enjoying that process. A nice change from regular brush work that I've done the past 16 years. I always enjoy watching you work. Thanks!
Stunning painting.. I loved the special colors and the combination between the realistic and the abstract 💖 I would love to know what green color you used??
Hello, Richard, I like your painting they are beautiful just i want to know, which brand of oil you use, and second, is it canvas or board your painting is on?
